Only thing i can think of right now is...
Cotchins won nab Rising star award for the week.. with 25 pos and a goal.
Brown is back to near best form Highest possession getter on the field..
Deledio showed well in the last Quater with 30 Pos for the game...
That's about it from me...

Newman was very good again.
Pattison showed a bit.
Yep - five or six players performed against a team who had 22 contributors. Cotchin has set up nicely for rising star nomination.
We didn't lose by 100 points.:thumbsu:

Yep only positive from today. I hope to God I never see Tivendale Pettifer and McMahon in a Tigers guernsey again. I know I could never be that lucky. And where does Polak fit in this line-up?? He looks as out of place as Bowden!
If the team is going to get flogged and play that type of front running unaccountable footy like they dished up to us in the second half then play the kids. The positive then would be getting games into them, as surely they couldn't be flogged as bad as that mob today.
Only bright spot I saw in second half was Newman, Tambling Richo Lids and Patto trying to have a go.
Crap performance and injury to Thursfield at least (I hope) forces Wallace to play some kids next week.

All the good work is negated by the defensive lapses that have plagued the side all year. They started off ok but then cracked and let an avalanche of goals in the second half, something needs to be done to make them play closer, or they will lose no matter how any goals they score.

Plough bagged Deledio on triple m after the game, as well as kingy and foley.
I have officially given up on Schulz - i think he can make it as a forward but obviously the club don't so get rid of him.

Shouldn't he have bagged Mcmahon, tivendale..bloody awful.
If Mcmahon gets a game next week I don't know hat to think.

I thought Tambling played pretty good. There were plenty of times I saw him working his ass off away from the ball and creating good leads without reward.
Cotchin looked amazing in the first quarter. He had a good game but the second half from the whole team may have stuffed up his chance of rising star nomination for this round. He's gotta get a vote soon though.

u're right that lids does handball a bit too much....but i think alot of the time..he's got no choice with no of the players leading up for him....
disagree with some regarding mcmahon....sure he didn't have a good game....but i seriously dont' think it's all that bad....i remember one passage of play when our backline just kep on handballing and stuffing around and when the ball finally got into mcmahon's hands...he took off and set up a shot on goal....at least he's having a go with some success when some other's aren't.....
tivendale is a disgrace.....did nothign positive and got caught countless times today.....

i do feel sorry for you all though, as a kid carlton fan in the 70's i hated the tiges cos they were powerful like us but since 80 your mettle must have been severely tested. we've had 5 years or whatever of being crap & thats been a horrid time, to go thru that for the amount of time you all have & still turn up passionately week in week out is a true indication of loyalty.

I thought Patto had one of the best games ive ever seen him play because he worked real hard around the ground as usual as was rewarded and he didnt turn it over as often as he usually does.
