North Sunshine 16s B Grade [Archive]

Thought id make a thread on our club since no one knows much about them. We have only one side in the 16s comp and to be equal 1st with Werribee in B grade is very competitive. We lost to Werribee in C grade in round 1 by 6 points and were without our rckman who was representing Western Jets that day Jamie Cameron plus Trent Browney our big full forward who fails to drop a contested mark. I think if we had more sides we could maybe play A grade and compete against the best sides.

We play Werribee next week in what could be a possible Grand Final preview. I think this game will be another close one after losing the first one by 1 goal and with a new player making his debut for the first time who has good rucking skills we might just pip them over the line and maybe even the grand final.

First of all, Hey, Thanks for telling us your teams story, you just actually wasted like a minute or two of everyones time.

Secondly, I think you guys are actually our biggest threat for the grand final this year. You beat St Albans by 50 points, and unfortunately we went down by 12.

We were without a player the day we played you also, big kid by the name of Ben Stois, was in queensland for the swimming nationals or something along those lines.

We also have a full forward who in the past 9 matches has kicked 58-60 goals.

Yeah, I saw Dillon Taylor stats I think his name is on WRFL site goal kicking machine we might have trouble manning him up when we played in Round 1 was he the guy that kicked like 4 goals or something that day medium sized full forward?

I guess he will kick another bag against us cause our full back is abit slow big in size but won't be able to keep up with that Dillon bloke.

He kicked 0 against us?? Are you sure im talking about the right one he's like roughly 175-180 cm and a solid build??

yeah, i don't think they put any goals up for that game.. if not, Ill have a look at all the players stats now.

yeah no other kid had kicked 4 or more in the C's that they have up on the website anyways.

we should have a good win on the weekend hey tomz
the first time we played u guys we werent in that good of form and some of our gun players were just gettin into the season
and with a gun signing of a.anderson who has polled votes in every game in the d's should watch out north sunshine :D

North Sunshine smashed Glenorden 29.17.191 to 2.1.13 ....Serkan Kala kicked 12 straight only his second game for us after coming from St.Albans A's. A tough game next week against Albion they clearly have the best midfield in the B grade after watching them yesterday players like Kym Taylor, Belal Mesto, James Thompson & Doherty and Mitchell Cook out suspended also Josh McPherson injured coming back this week.

there is no way that serkan is under 16s.. the guy looks 30 and if you told a person of the street he was 16 there is no way in hell they would believe you.

Agreed.

The WRFL is stupid when it comes to end of year clearences etc..

After round 5-6 you shouldn't be allowed to leave your club unless they fold/over number.
