Which team has the better youth? Well obviously it is Adelaide, see: ladder position.
Before the start of this season I bet most people would have thought it would have been the other way around.
Vince, Porplyzia, Knights, van Berlo, Mackay, Griffin, Maric, Tippett, Douglas, Symes are all good at football. Bloody good. Porplyzia is already a star. Tippett will be amazing.
AFC also have Andy Otten dominating the SANFL. Taylor Walker who kicked 9 goals for Norwood yesterday, Sellar waiting in the wings as well as Dangerfield who will make a huge impact next season.
So is Surjan and Pearce better than the crows youth? :o
Boak is good though :)

EDIT: Steven Salopek, Adam Thomson, Jacob Surjan, Travis Boak, Marlon Motlop, Paul Stewart, Danyle Pearce, Robert Gray, Alipate Carlile, Nathan Krakouer, Matt Thomas (Yes, he's the 21 year old that just about put half of the crows players in hospital), Michael Pettigrew, Justin Westhoff, Nick Salter, Tom Logan and a few others. Also have Ebert developing at the WCE. I know which youth i would pick.

I have seen both play and Vince is better.
Vince is harder at the ball as well.
These poll results shock me...crows are 4th! And it is mainly cos of our younger players. Oh and the Crows won the showdown.
How Port have ONE SINGLE VOTE is beyond me.
Port's amazing young talent seemed to go missing today...ouch :)

Carlton young players > Port Young Players and Justin Wimpsoft.
Adelaide supporters always talk shit, i wouldnt really take much notice what they think, we lost one game against Carlton and a few younger players had a bad night, that means jack shit, Adelaide's youth is pretty average compared to other teams.

ports youth was probably better at the start of the year but as the year has gone on the crows youngsters have been trained under a successful coach and leadership group in a confident environment and have blossomed, whilst port youngsters have been under the guidance of warren tredrea and some of the players get taken to lunch by mark williams midseason only to be told that they will not play another game for them unless they get injuries, hence their form and confidence has suffered. Additionally the crows encourage their young players to play contested footy while port power have gone for a more uncontested dry weather style of play because it 'doesnt rain in september' according to mark williams. In summary crows>>>>>>port power and crows youngsters>>>>>port power youngsters.

rucci gave the young power players so much adoration and beat up, many got sucked in to believing they were exceptional. This year proves how ordinary they are...sure, good players but, a little perspective please. They are no better than the staple diet of all teams' young players. Young Crow players easily as good...and at this stage, showing a lot more talent than the jaded port youngies.
Well that was the point, you know...to name our awesome young talent.
