1 ____ing goal and 7 Tasmanian players made the bests (1 more than VM)! Incredible.

The Score didnt reflect the game, Vic Metro only won due to the fact of their first quater, they played brilliant, tassie played shit, but from then on after tassie kept vic metro to 6 goals in 3 quaters which is a brilliant effort, Tassie had alot of possesion time and hit vic metro hard and at one stage vic metro only had one on the bench due to their players not being able to handle the physicality of the game.
Better players for tassie were chrichton, milverton, Hislop (tagging role) robinson
then mihocek providing the only goal and alot of foward pressure - very quick

Thats a very bias report..the first quarter was played as an open style of game and thats why metro came out firing..after quarter time it seemed tasmania just decided they'd throw most of them their team on the ball and in vic metros forward line and flood considerably meaning Tasmania never looked liked scoring as they tried to just chip the ball around coming out of their flood...this also made it hard for metro to score as the game was so congested in their half of the ground..
didnt have a program for tassie until after half time but to me Mitch Robinson was very very good, Crichton i also thought was tassies second best, he is only skinny but he has a massive crack
Cornelius got his hands on the ball a bit but he couldnt seem to bring down the marks he was flying for, wasnt great
For the Vics i didnt think anyone really stood out for 4 quarters a lot of them played awesome in patches
Mckernan looks and plays exactly like his brother, was impressive.
Zakharkis gets a lot of the ball
Stanton i didnt think had a great deal of it but when he did he looked class.
Hurley didnt get much of an oppurtunity as the ball wasnt down back much but when it was there he won just about every contest

So given the result will they make as many changes as they did in the last game . 9 changes and a result where the opposition only kicked 1 goal is terriffic but against better opposition S.A.Do you bring back scully blease etc . Surely these players were only rested to give the recruiters a look at some others

Did Hislop get alot of the ball or was he assigned a job of tagging?
Who did he tag and was he effective as he is a good ball winner in previous games ive seen?

he was taging banner and shuey and they both got in the best for vic

i got my hand on some vision of the game from the second half and it doesnt look like he was tagging either shuey or banner. They both have opponents and he is nowhere to be seen

I played with him in the game and he tagged Zahrakis in the 2nd half...Salter had Banner and Harwood on Shuey but neither tagging.

1 goal in 80mins of footy is embarrassing...regardless of the level.
The good news for Tasmania is that if they can beat NSW/ACT on Saturday as they did last month in Melbourne, then they'll have one win more on the board than Vic Country.
