After watching the first half of the season, there is no one else who could be our captain other than Juddy.

To me there is no comparison in the leadership abilities of Judd and Stevens.

Judd has been influential in majority of our wins and has in most circumstances been the one to get us over the line.

I am so happy the decided to give the leadership to Judd, because so far this season Stevens is yet to show that he has anywhere near the capabilities necessary to captain a side.

There is no doubt in my mind that the MC made the correct decision in giving the captaincy to Judd.

First half of the season down, Go Blues.

100% agree, i was a tiny bit unsure of how it would be received giving Judd the captaincy straight away, but he has proved he is totally the best man possible for the job. (best leader in the AFL maybe?)

Just the way he rose to the occasion against collingwood and melb and even his 4 quarters last night.

Last night I remember thinking, god he is good. Bloody glad I have his number on the back of my carlton jumper.

Anyone else hear about Michael Gardiner and Twigs a few years back?

The rumor is he boned Twiggs, and that was the main reason why was forced out of WC.....

Also a reason why Judd wanted to move to Melb. Supposibly the eagles players did and still do strongly disliked Twiggs for it, and Judd needed to choose the Eagles or Twiggs and chose Twigs, hence moving to Melbourne.

don't give me even MORE reason to be in love with her!!!

what a load of rubbish... highly doubt it mate

think judd has a been a great captain but was a little disappointed last night when Fev "punched" that port player and judd just walked past. i think a REALLY good captain would pull the player over and say to him "c'mon mate, that's stupid, just go the ball" etc. however, none-the-less he has been a truly fantastic captain :thumbsu::thumbsu:

I remember he did this with Stevens a couple of weeks back against Brissy.

Maybe he knows Fev better than we do and knows that there is a time and place to have a chat to him, like after the game.

this isnt U/16's mate. this game was always going to be a physical one on and off the ball. fevola was simply putting the fright back into his man, reminding him that he is still on the ground :). judd did the same thing when wiggins took out cassisi when he was standing right next to judd.
we proved ourselves last night by not holding back, the last thing judd shouldve done was look soft and forgiving

Stevens and Murphy would be my second choices then Simo also Cloke has good leadership on field i think but will never be our captain.

I know mate. Let people read it there if they want. All good. What a win. Missed all the action. Did Browne get a kick? Thought he might be worth a look on one of those sneaky little goal-snappers next week.
