He was a great footy player but the final straw after listening to this bloke last night..
He has got to be the worst commentator going around.
He is just full of crap and does not have a clue on what is going on in the game.
Would like to know other peoples thoughts or which commentator makes you reach for the mute button.

Tim Watson commentates like he coached... terribly.
Tim Watson commentates like he's coaching essendon...
edited for accuracy, because of the amount of essendon games CH7 do...tim is always pointing out what essendon should do. disregarding the other team.

Malcolm Blight confirmed himself as the worst commentator on TV when a deliberate out of bounds decision was given against a team ( i can't remember who) started having a fit of laughter before pulling out the gem "He must have kicked that ball a hundred million miles!" apart from that the only other people i've had an issue with is Tim Lane and his infatuation with Chris Judd and Stephen Quartermains crush on Adam Goodes. Channel 7 is doing fine at the moment.

Michael Voss, Tim Lane, Stephen Quartermain, Malcolm Blight and Michael Christian. How they are beating Channel 7 is beyond me, i'll watch Bruce Mcavaney and Dennis Commetti with his WWE references over Channel 10 anyday. Hell i'll even tolerate Schwarz and Watson

David Schwarz, Steve Quartermain & Dwayne Russell are the worst from each station.
As a calrton suppoerter i find it annoying how Tim Lane and Robert Walls are so biased and talk so much trash. Tim Lane is embarrassing with some of the carlton stuff he brings up. Cringe worthy!
Leigh Clobert, Rohan Smith and Alister Lynch are pretty bad on Foxtel as well.

Agreed. Channel 10 is probably the worst station to watch, don't have foxtel/austar so dont have the privilege of watching all their commentators regularly. Think you're being a bit harsh on robert walls, his fantastically insightful one word answers resulting in dead air is the reason i watch channel 10. So Robert Walls, how is Richmond playing up to half time?................Good. Do you think Essendon can work better in the second half and mount a comeback?....................No. :thumbsu:

Buckley is not nearly as bad as I expected.
Voss is the best commentator around right now.
Schwarz and Russell - abominable - Don't mind Huddo on the telly and Tim Lane on radio - but think Healy and Buckley are good. Liam Pickering is my favourite.
