Hey guys,
I have not seen any West Coast games this year apart from against the Blue so just wondering how JK has been going?
According to the Weegles supporters he is going to be a GUN.
I didn't quite see that at Carlton. Time and time again the ball would slip through his hands, didn't have much confidence although the effort levels were there...
I know I am not alone thinking that he didn't wouldn't become one of the best CHF's in the league so wondering if he really has matured...?
Did we let something special go?

i think we have, as a VERY big JK fan, i was dissapointed to see him go, even if it was for judd. ill be one of the few carlton supporters to say that; IMHO, i think we got the worse end of the deal, even if judd can recover fully from OP
His form has been pretty good this year, and it all started at the Dome against the Doggies. Been presenting very very well, taking marks, and kicking a few goals. Had a really really good month. Unless he is injured, i'm a little confised as to why he was out of the team vs Sydney.

knee injury (http://http://www.westcoasteagles.com.au/Season2008/News/NewsArticle/tabid/7155/Default.aspx?newsId=60928), probably out for just the one

And Melbourne. His second quater was sublime in setting up a match winning lead. Apart from that, the rest of the match was fairly even.

Don't think this thread should turn into another discussion on the Judd deal and who go the better deal...
Would rather hear about JK's form and his future potential status as a great CHF. Will he make it to the elite status in his position?

he was out with a knee or something i think it said.
Posterior cruciate, similar to Fraser in the Vic vs Allies game.
Nothing serious.
With all due respect to bbb, this topic has been done to death, and no doubt will continue to over the coming years.
Both teams won out of the deal.
Yes, he is going to be good..........maybe no better than good, but maybe more........who can possibly know.
Judd onfield is now moving right back up to where we know he can be.
The offield impact has been 100 times his onfield.
Win - win.
Move on.

Has been very good for West Coast thus far. Been presenting very well up the ground and his hands have been very good. Looks to have taken a step up year which is what is required of him and it's good to see he's done so.

Put it this way JUDD is JUDD= Superstar and Kennedy= Possibility of being a superstar hasn't even got close to that status as yet. So at this current time let things be and lets enjoy the success were having at this current time and forget about our losses :thumbsu:
We can't keep sulking in our losses. Like they say you got to lose some to win some;) OUT Kennedy IN JUDD :)
IMHO I'm happy with JUDD, lets face it he has instrumented us to a few wins this year including Sunday's match against Port so I'm not complaining :D Let's forget about Josh Kennedy guys and start looking to our future :thumbsu: We have a fantastic list, so lets build on that and bring us another premiership.
Go the Blue Boys :thumbsu:
If you say you saw him against Eagles, don't know how u can say he wasn't good. His efforts in the third particulary got them right back into it.
To answer your question, I've seen Eagles a fair bit, and he is going well this year, wish we still had him. However, while I agree that its good Carlton supporters take an interest in their player (past and present), this has been done to death as someone else pointed out. He is an Eagle now unfortunately, and even if he comes back to Melbourne, doubt we would get him.
Time to move on I think....it's hypercritical in a way that we give the 'pretence' that we are interested in his career, when most suggested and advocated his depature for Judd.

Only one man can answer this definitively. I believe he was born in 72. Just one man.

Hmmm I was thinking you meant 1/10/61 but should have been saying 1/9/63 BUT wrong on both counts

Bluebear, I did make it clear in a previous post that the topic on who got the better deal has been done to death.
This is not the purpose of my post... I wanted to know how his form was cos I have not seen their games and if people think he will be a superstar cos I couldn't see it at Carlton.

I don't live in Australia, I have to download the torrents every week apart from the times it is on the subscription that I have paid for. I am probably more up to date on Carlton than you are and I don't live in Aus.

Thanks guys. Was away all of last week, so I missed a fair bit of footy news.

Apologies bbb.
He missed the first couple of games, but once he broke into the side he has presented well, taken some ggod marks, kicked a few goals.
Thats what I could gather from the banter and the papers.
Pretty much doing more consistently, what he showed late last year, and what we all (well.......most of us) thought he would show.
WCE think they have an emerging star, and maybe they do.......but I think he will be just a good footballer........but you never know.

Nah no tickets on myself mate, just a long time passionate blues supporter who is interested in a player that I watched play allot of footy and is now gone.
As to why you would question how interested I am in him... I have no idea - go figure:confused:
Lynch takes a mark

JK will be an important part of the team
taking 8-10 marks across half forward, crashing a few packs and kicking 40-50 a year
Blue overalls type of CHF, not the shark skin suit of Buddy Franklin.
I would prefer a fully fit Judd though ;)

The question made a lot of sense for 99.9% of Big Footy supporters (anyone living in Oz) - guess I saw it as a Thread from some lazy supposed footy supporter FIGURE ;)
Sorry, about the tickets joke - leave your sense of humour back here in Oz? :D
