Is he being marked too highly because his past brilliance is being factored in to what he has done so far this year?
Personally, I don't think his impact on games has been as great as Ablett or Franklin

Well its obvious his gary is going on past brilliance, unless he hasn't followed the footy too closely this year.

Ablett is carrying the whole side at the moment, i didn't realise how good he's become. :thumbsu:
He was actually asked if you were starting a new side and had to pick who you wanted who would it be. He said he would take Franklin, Judd and then Ablett.
It wasnt about who is better this year but who he would rather have in his side.
Plus as people have already said, who cares what Lyon thinks. His opinion means as much as yours and mine. Same with all the so called 'experts'. They are only experts because they get paid for giving an opinion. Doesnt mean its wrong or right or more important than yours or mine.

The so called best in the comp changes every week anyway, to whoever is in the best form. This week it's probably Ablett and Franklin, then Judd. Next week Pavlich might kick 9, or Dean Cox dominate and people will say they're the best. I'd have Buddy and Ablett and then the rest, but i wouldn't argue if someone said they'd have Judd.

How do you figure that? 2 goals on his own, 6 direct assists, and you can't kick goals unless it gets down there in a precision manner....
