Former Brownlow medallist Jim Stynes is set to become the new president of the Melbourne Demons. The Footywrap caught up with him in an exclusive interview before the Queens Birthday clash. The Demons were caught short despite a spirited performance against Collingwood. It's been a big week for the Demons who celebrated their 150th birthday on the weekend. They have some claim to being the oldest sporting club in the world- 20 years older than Manchester United and 44 years older than the New York Yankees.

Paul Gardner steps down as Melbourne chairman, on the same weekend as the Victorian ski season opens. Coincidence?
