CARLTON
Jordan Bannister (hamstring) test
Eddie Betts (ankle) test
Michael Jamison (shoulder) test
Richard Hadley (groin) 2-3 weeks
Andrew Walker (shoulder) 2-3 weeks*
Ryan Houlihan (hip) 6-7 weeks
Paul Bower (shoulder) 7 weeks

* Bit of a surprise that walker is due back so soon. Bannister not expected to pull up for the game however betts and jamison are right to go.

COLLINGWOOD
Anthony Rocca (ankle) available*
Luke Casey-Leigh (groin) available
Alan Toovey (shoulder) available*
Brodie Holland (Achilles) test*
Scott Pendelbury test
Simon Prestigiacomo foot 2-3 weeks
Sean Rusling (shoulder) season
Brad Dick (knee) season

* could be three possible big ins this week for collingwood. However, Rocca is very unlikely to play, almost definitely, but toovey definitely won't come in and holland always seems to play well against us. Pendelbury no certainty to start either but is anticipated that he will line up.

Is very much a case of -watch this space- for both teams

P.S. Yes, i know the title is meant to say casualTy

Rocca won't play. Toovey is shit. I wish Hadley was back, type of player that laps up these sorta games.

We're more in need of a Bannister and/or Jamison to play on Medhurst and Didak. If I remember correctly, these two match-ups were pivotal in us knocking them off last time.

Since when is Toovey a big in?:confused:

agree with hadley but he wont be back until he is right as they crucified him last time by playing him unfit, and dont miss Holland he is probably worse then Toovey!

Yeah but he has immense skill and would rather them have Rocca, Toovey & Holland all available than just Pendles.

Murphy the pies up anyway..

Holland and Toovey aren't in our best 22. Rocca won't play. You can probably hope Pendlebury and Davis (hasn't been 100% for a while now) will miss, but i really can't see that happening.

walkers a legend

Im not going to relie on their injurys and just think we can beat them no matter who they have in or out.

Hopefully we'll beat them no matter who comes in for them. The only certainty it seems is that Anthony Rocca won't play, although having said that, I wouldn't trust MM as far as I could throw him.

Even Pies supporters will give you that one.

PS: Has Hadley ever been fit? Not impressed with his injurypronenessness.

I hope Toovey doesn't play for us again, good VFL player, not so good at AFL.
Holland? Was pretty handy in his day, but the game has passed him now.

Hoping Penders is back in though.

Oh hey Presti might be back after the break, fantastic news.

If Toovey plays it means we must be tanking.

I would much rather Bentick in the side anyway, Hadley should have to work his way up through the ants before getting back into the senior side. Considering everyone rates him so highly when he's season high with the blues is 17 disposals.. And Bentick averages 3 more clearances, 4 inside 50's and 3 tackles more than him per game, and also 7 more possesions.. Hadley doesn't deserve a spot infront of Adam at the moment.

Hadley had something like 100% efficiency against collingwood however didn't he?
very good disposal

Hadley was influential in our win over Collingwood this year when he blocked for Judd and kicked an important goal.

Bentick is yet to translate his contested work to the scoreboard and kicks goals.

Hadley will have to work his way back via the Bullants, but I'd have Richard in the side ahead of AB when he's one hundred per cent fit.

I think it would be great if we could figure out a way to fit both of these two in the team.

I would put a lot of money on Bentick having far more goal assists than Hadley, more than conpensating for Hadley's 1 goal against collingwood.

He has been sensational. But has he actually towelled up a big name completely? I guess in the position he plays he doesn't neccessarily get the best forward. But that takes nothing away from his efforts - probably our most improved player.

It doesn't help when the commentators call him Grigg every game either!

Towelled up Travis Cloke but not really a big name but i thought he was doing well on Steve Johnson until injured then Johnson tore thornton apart late and took the piss out of him a bit, Cant quite recall if i am right but thought he played on and beat Jared Brennan but cant remember the match up for Melbourne and Freo game.
