P Medhurst V JAMISON RD 4 2008
MEDHURST
Kicks 9 handballs 1
1 goal- 50 given away from bret thornton
0- Behinds
JAMISON
Kicks 12 handballs 4
WIN- JAMISON
BTW this is relating to the guy that scoffed at another supporter rating Jamison
And just though id mention how Jammo kept bradshaw to 3 touches and no shots at goal in 3 quarters of footy this year before leaving the field injured
Rd 18 2007
Jamison vs Medhurst
MEDHURST
4 Kicks 2 handballs
6 disposals
Scoreless
JAMISON
6 kicks 3 handballs 1 behind- poster
So by looking at that i would say Medhurst is Jamison's bitch and even if we lose this week it wont be because of Paul Medhurst
And just though id mention how Jammo kept bradshaw to 3 touches and no shots at goal in 3 quarters of footy this year before leaving the field injured
I posted that on the collingwood board a while ago and have received no reply
Please tell me you didn't just write that...
I love Jammo, but he's a young bloke, and if he plays he's coming back from injury. And the football gods definitely do not like premature claims such as what you have just posted. If Medhurst kicks 6 this week, I'm blaming you entirely

He has done fantastically well on him in the past.
I'd wait to see what happens this weekend though.

Can't really base it on 2 performances. I would have at least waited until after this weeks match (assuming Medders gets towelled again).

i havent seen it on our thread
anyway that rd18 game medhurst was still somewhat injured with his ribs that he suffered against freo in rd10
if u look after that he was patchy as he played injured up until about rd20 u would notice he wasnt in discomfort
and i would hardly call medhurst his bitch after one injury free performance
bit premature about this claim
might be true but not yet

Medhurst Has Done This All Of His Career, Play Well 1 Week And Go Missing For A Month, Dont Think Beating Medhurst 1 OR 2 Times Gives You The Right To Think He Is Jamisons Bitch Let Alone Anyone You Beat, Do It Regulary Before You Consider It.

done a number on him a couple of times, but its a new game with jamo getting back from injury, the saying "dont count your chickens before they're hatched" comes to mind, hope jamo has a blinder as i'm not a big fan of medhurst.

Dw i made sure the poll shut on sunday! heheheh. Just pumping my man up. FB of the future
Absolutely. Has towelled him up twice in a very short career. Wasn't the first time Jamo's first game (or must have been close to)?
The kid is going to be a fantastic defender.

Print your little post and send it to the Collingwood Football Club and ask for it to be personally delivered to Medhurst:D
Dude, the Geelong mob put big bunny ears on Rocca and said that he was Scarlett's bunny before the Geelong v Collingwood game.
Guess who looked like a bunny that day:eek:
After Sunday we will see who is who's bitch :thumbsu:
You obviously only watch Games where Collingwood play crap:cool:

Way too early to call.............but yes. It appears so. ;)
Its also very informative to see what sort of form Medhurst was in either side of his round 4 drubbing............won the ANZAC medal and was kicking bags. :thumbsu:
Jammo is a gun.
I really hope he is back this week.

Didn't Jamison play on Cloke in round 4?

No, Jamison played on Medhurst and comprehensively beat him.
Bower played on Cloke and comprehensively spanked him. Bower is out of the team this time around, so we'll see who goes to him. My guess is Waite, seeing as though Rocca is also out.

Medhurst is a player who gets up when the team is up, similar to that of Didak and also to an extent Thomas. Lets see how we go if the pies get on top in the midfield which is highly unlikely and Medhurst and his coat tail riding buddies get some good supply. Jamison isn't going to be a gun, he already is, he plays on talls and smalls and has beaten some quality opposition. Hopefully he plays this week and plays well. I hate losing to Collingwood.

Who's Jamison?
Jamison is the bloke who will own whoever he plays on against the Pies...

Who's Jamison?
Rookie who towelled up Medhurst in his first game last year.
Now a nominated rookie and has cleaned up a number of players including Medhurst again, and Bradshaw, both in the middle of very strong form.

Pretty dissapointing day for the Pies, so i'll bump this up, at least 1 positive from today. :p

Just as one win over Geelong doesn't mean you are any good......(name another "good" team you have beaten)..........one good day for Medhurst on Jamm doesn't prove this wrong........but it is too early to call.
Much the same as "Is Riewoldt Waites bitch?" Waite is 3 for 3, and if he goes 4 for 4 in the next few weeks expect the poll.:thumbsu:
I thought he only kicked one on Jammo - could not work out why anyone other than Jammo was taking him

Hi, you've only beaten us this season, and look at the commotion your lot is stirring.
As for this topic, i would say it is invalid now, i'm not saying Jamison is Medders bitch or anything, but he certainly isn't Jamisons bitch either.

Medhurst looked dangerous down forward in the 3rd quarter but apart from that he had to get up the ground just to get a kick.

Quite right. Which proves my point made in another thread in some respects.
You guys are overrated. You had one lucky win. Other than that you can't beat top 8 sides.
The next month will show us what the Pies are made of.......but I suspect we already know.
No Bucks, no Clement............no effort..........but hey.......maybe the umps won't screw you next week and the REAL magpies will be able to show their stuff. ;)

Medhurst was the Pies best.
Not sure where this "Jamieson beat him" is coming from.
The Pies deliberately played Medhurst further out in the 1st half and Jamieson couldn't go with him, Paul had a goal and about 14 touches and 7 marks to 1/2 time, and was looking good.
He finished with 21 touches, 11 marks and 4.2. Great game from Paul, considering how disappointing the Pies were.
Not sure what game some of you were watching.

Check the date of the OP... it was before the match today.
still, considering where Jammo is and how many games he has played, he is going to be a very good player for the blues.

I think he'll be alright also.
