As most of us already know, Guns is heading to Melb for the GF and has asked me to organise a friendly get together with the BF posse :)
There are plenty of places to go but some suggestions are needed.

Back to the thread however
We are actually serious. I do not get into Melbourne very often and think it would be great to get together with as many of you lot as possible. I am staying in the CBD so prefer close to the city
Not into gambling but can do casino if you insist
Wife pesent so no Goldfingers (dammit)

Hey Awesome Slinger ... BTW There used to be a real cool strip joint up in Kew, but then the local snobs got all shitty, and now it's just another annoying Yuppie Pub ..
Personally I would suggest an inner city pub like Fitzroy or Brunswick might be better, there is a lot of drunk ________s in the CBD around GF w/end I'm sorry to say.

We intend to be leading the charge! Last time we hang out in Stkilda. Some cool rock pubs (that joint with 4 or 5 levels was awesome)

That was it - saw a great metal kind of Band from Japan. Like Rammstein but in Japanes. They were all dressed as geisha or samurai with swords and all. Rocked big time!

It might not be till September but don't leave it too late applying for your visa. Vic authorities can be pretty specific about who they let in from WA. Just a thought.

Just a reminder it is but 3 weeks until I hit sunny Melbourne!
We are thinking of a gathering Thurs night (might squeeze in Fri night as well depending on how messy the CFC GF lunch is)
This occasion didn't really seem to get off the ground!
And since when is GF night a Thursday?
I'd maybe consider it if it was a weekend perhaps.
