Simple question, who do you want to win? obviously prefer neutral supporters votes but that can't be helped.

Right now, no. I find it laughable though that Carltank think they are a finals chance. :o I mean, North and St Kilda are the other sides competing for the 8 and they shit ALL over Carlton.

It would be some effort given the run home we have. WE have Collingwood - Possibly win, Essendon - Likely victory you would think, Richmond - Likely victory you would think & St. Kilda - Possible victory in the next 4 weeks. Our run home is pretty tough with Sydney (TD) - Loss , Western Bulldogs (TD) - Loss , Adelaide (AS) Loss , Port Adelaide (TD) - Possible win, North Melbourne (TD) - Unlikely but a chance, Brisbane (Gabba) Loss & Hawthorn (TD) Loss. I think the media is what is driving this thought.
P.S you do realise that your a melbourne supporter dont you...

Go the blues! Mostly for my knockout tipping comp, but who doesn't like watching Collingwood crash against their major rivals?

Carlton !!
It's an interesting question and it depends on context. Here's the deal:
1. For Carlton supporters.
Great to beat the Pies, but the priority this year is really development of our young team. Win or lose we're wanting them to grow and learn from the experience. Our goal is developing this team into a multi-flag success story, and Ratten and his coaching team have done an outstanding job developing this young list
2. For Collingwood supporters (not important group #1)
This game means everything. The Pies were devastated when their full-strength lineup got humiliated in the last encounter. Collingwood prides themselves on being within excuse-reach-of-success each year, and back to back losses this year at the hands of Carlton, will make it hard to spin their failures away this year
3. Other supporters (not important group #2)
Escalating anger is brewing, as they watch this brilliant young Carlton lineup make small positive steps forward this year. They wish they had even half the raw talent the Blues have, and regret their list management stuff ups (e.g. Tiges, Freo), coaching appointment disatsers (e.g. Dons, Freo), borderline financial viability (e.g. Hawks, Dees, North) and other reasons that make it impossible for their Clubs to ever have success. They'll be desperate for this young Carlton team to lose to deflect some of their own pain.

a knee on each team would be good and the kind of knee injury that doesn't take a synthetic fibre.

Anyway I hate both teams with a passion, wish they could both lose.

Carlton - purely because the Pies are also in the hunt for a top 4 spot. Should be a cracker.

Usually I'd want a draw.
However after last weekend I Collingwood to win by a lot.

Parrot's advancing excuses for a Carlton loss several days in advance. If Carlton don't win, it's just part of a young team's learning curve. If Collingwood don't win, the sky is falling in on the Lexus Centre.
Pretty weak effort from you, Parrot. But par for the course.

Yes, exactly. You need to remember that the Blues are fielding a much younger although more talented side than the Pies, and this year is our development year. Even though we posted a few wins,we are yet to beat a quality opposition this year. The Pies on the other hand keep telling us how good they are despite a triple humiliation V Hawks V Blues and V North. The Pies go into this game red-hot favorites, and Malthouse even did a Chad Cornes in the press, implying this game would be easy. So, the Pies really do have a lot more to lose. This is a massive game for the Pies, but just another for our young side. :)

Both teams have 8 players 21 or under. Take out Burns and Wakelin, and it's pretty much even for average age. Should also say that Wood (21) and Goldsack (20) are in our best 22, Goldy is struggling with OP, and Wood was rested... but the Bear's great form has kept him out. :)
Cloke, O'Brien, Pendlebury, Thomas, Brown, Wellingham, Reid and Clarke.
Hampson, Kreuzer, Armfield, Murphy, Gibbs, Russell, Betts and Grigg.
You're a bit insecure about the talent...
lol. No. Want to know why? Here's a clue - go watch the Blues last 1/4 V Port. :)

Collingwood.
Always nice to see good triumph over evil.
Hahaha, so gay.
Carlton for me.
However you look at it, Carlton and Collingwood are both well-poised to become serious contenders over the next decade, with Carlton quickly assembling what is one of the league's best off-field set-ups and Collingwood already having assembled one. Both sides are young and have some future stars. IMO, Carlton's midfield stocks are definitely better, but Collingwood have some quality young KPP - Cloke, Brown, Reid, Rusling (who I think will struggle to string injury free seasons together, which is a shame), O'Brien et al.
Right now Collingwood are further into their development and are rightly favourites IMO. If they play anything like they did against Geelong they should win. Carlton just need to replicate their Round 4 effort and give 110%.
Should be a cracking game either way.
