If you thought we were having a tough time getting a free kick paid in our favour in the first half of the season you would be right.
The pies have recieved 193 free kicks to round 11. The only team to have recieved less than 200.
Geelong by comparison have recieved the most in the league with 279.
Be interesting to see what the discrepancy is come the end of the HA season.
That stems from our gameplan.
When you run the ball by hand a lot, you tend to get more free-kicks. When you chip it up the sideline, not as many.
It's why WCE were always up near the top, and now Geelong. They run the ball by hand, and get a lot of high tackle and holding decisions.

Well constructed argument but if you have a look at the bulldogs who uses the ball in a similar fashion to us. They have a similar kick to handball ratio. They recieve a lot more free kicks than us.
