With Joel Corey's season over after doing his AC joint yesterday, is it worth putting him on the long-term injury list and promoting young Carrazzo off the rookie list?? He has impressed me in his first season in the VFL and could be worth taking a punt.

Remember this is exactly how Peverill got his chance at Essendon, and look at him now!!

What does everyone else think?

Well, there is no harm in doing it. Well, unless he is used this week against Hawthorn, I doubt (if we are to still make it) if he would play in our finals.

But anyway, I good idea, and there is no harm what so ever in doing it. Give him a game this week, he might surprise us. And if he is good enough, keep him on the 2003 seniors list.

It would be a good idea, but i'm pretty sure that slade was jsut able to be promoted off the rookie list before the cut off date. So i don't think we r allowed to promote anyone at this late stage unfortunatly!!

madkat182,

Ah well it was just a thought I had after yesterday's game, thinking about who could come in to replace Joel Corey in our midfield. I hope Geelong promote Carrazzo off the Rookie list next season as he shows promise for someone so young and inexperienced and is worth keeping in my opinion.

catattack,

I think we'll definately have to look into that, as Bracksy, our most popular Premier would say!! LOL!! :D:D

Danny O'Brien deserves a chance in the seniors after his good form in the VFL team this season, and hopefully will be considered for selection this week.

I must say that we have been hit with a lot of injuries in the past month or so.

Mid way through the season, the only injuries were Snell, White and Spriggs; since then, quite a few of us have gone down.

We had been pretty lucky until that stage of the year!! But in the off season, get all the injuries right, refresh the young tired bodies, and have a pretty clean list of injuries in 2003. The good thing for the midfield is that Spriggs will be back, eager, and ready to go.

Your thoughts on our injuries and luck with them....

We haven't had the best run with injuries of late which certainly hasn't helped our cause, but most clubs get some injuries at different stages of the season and you just have to manage them as best you can. It's all about having depth in your list these days, as well as a lot of luck and having close to your best 22 players on the field at the right time of the year.

I must say, we do have pretty good depth of young players in our team. We always have a very good 22 to take the field. But then poor Carlton who only had something like 24 fit players to chose from. I'd like to see their VFL team, and how would you feel if you were one of the two who weren't selected??...LOL:D

But anyway, we have a lot of good, young depth in out all might team!!:D:D
