yeh that ____ing sux, Houli has become so important to our team already imo, big loss, specially with Jobe back.
Rama was good for Bendi last week though, so he should add some spark

I am spewing about Dyson almost making the team..what was the rule Knights wanted to enforce with injured players coming back..get him to Bendigo and leave him there!

Houli a big loss, Winderlich was showing some good form so sad to see him out aswell. Please don't bring him back till he is 100% this time though.
Fletcher and Braun out for them though, two pretty important players.

Fletcher..an important player..since when..important for us I guess..he turns the ball over a heck of a lot!
As i said in another thread i would rather atkinson in for Rama, not sure he gives us much anymore. Atkinson puts his head over the footy and wont squib a contest. He'll bring a lot of pace to that back half also, its time to see if some of these guys can cut the mustard.
I remember seeing rama on anzac day and he refused to chase, his time has come IMO.
Marcuz, seeing as you closed the last thread where you had your say on Rama, but made sure no one could reply.
I am really pleased he's in the side, we need another experienced body in the team, with a good head & skills.

I didnt close the thread.
I think it was Merv and he'll pay for such insolence.:D
As for Rama he struggles with the speed of the game, as much as i love the bloke he's struggling.

He lacks speed yes, but we have the kids who are fast, yet not smart enough & make stupid errors, Rama is the opposite. We need a combination of both & hopefully the kids will watch the skilss that Rama has.
Edit: Sorry for accusing you of closing the thread, if it was Merv, he needs a good kick up the arse.

Happy with the side. A bit more experience than the last 6 weeks so we should put in a good show.
No more excuses so I'm expecting a win tomorrow night.
Good to see Rama back in as I think he can play a role for the next 3 years. His disposal and decision making is top notch. He needs to improve his fitness a little but he still has a bit of pace in those legs. Another pre season under his belt and his comeback will be complete.

I hate the fact that Laycock has been bought into the team infront of Bellchambers.. I think he needs a month at Bendigo to improve his attack on the footy before we bring him back in.. Its like he doesn't want to be there..
Might as well give Bellchambers some exposure at AFL level.. Even if he only rucks in intervals to give Hille a rest or let him push forward.. Id love to see Hille in the square and Lloyd pushing up the ground..

its been our kids that have been doing well over the past few weeks though so we didnt really need more experience imo
winderlick and houli have been great the past 3 weeks, houli for pretty much all of the season
and pears has been very good in defence imo, did a good job on the more experienced boyle last week

Cocky much?
Haven't watch many WCE games this year have you?
Fletcher and Braun are major outs for us. Fletcher has been in really good form lately.

Houli, Pears & Winderlich are all out injured, or should we play them even though they're injured?
even though they're first and second-year players, the side looks so less impressive without the names houli and pears. love the class those kids bring to the side.

i think it's good laycock is back yes he hasn't lived up to the hype but can still provide good support to hille at the moment throwing bellchambers in there as you suggest or ryder as others sugget wouldn't be as good ryder is needed down back and well bellchambers like i said in the other thread needed to be dropped for laycock his unlucky yes but i think laycock will provide more support to hille at the moment.just my opinon though

Houli and Winderlich are huge losses, need others like Nash and Rama to stand up and save thier careers.

More like Rama and Laycock. Nash is still young.

This is a big game for Laycock. Must perform and help Hille against the Big Cox. Upset for Houli and Windas but they will be back. Jobe and Jay, welcome back boys we missed ya.
shattered about houli, he and winderlich are genuine linebreakers and that is going to hurt us, although i am pleased to see Neagle given another opputuinty, this time he will be a third tall with Lloyd and lucas both their, hopefully he can pull one out of the bag and steer a few through tomorrow night in front of the faithful, and Bellchambers, although he is raw, i agree with some fellow bargists that he should be given and extended go at the top, and see how he performs, none of this one game in one game out rubbish, knoghts pull your head out.

Judd4PM I for 1 agree with bomberno1 Fletcher's disposals are F____Ked
Glad he is out as well as Graham.
Also glad Winda and Houli are out for you guys, Windy always seen to lift against us and Houli has been fireing on all cylinders all year.
I think this will give us the edge against you guys on Friday

You would really like to see Bellchambers ruck this week against Cox?
Did you watch last weeks game?
We could kiss any chance we have of winning goodbye if Bellchambers were to play.
He needs time in the seconds to develop.

I hope Houli isn't out for too long. He's become an important part of the team already. It looks like Slatts has the job on Kerr again so if he can restrict his movement then we are a big chance for the win. We have the firepower up forward. All we have to do is get it in quick and we will score lots of goals.
Luckily for us Braun and Fletcher is out. They are very good experienced players who play a big part in WCE's team. This is our chance. It is ours to lose.
i agree we probably need a 2nd ruckman against cox.. shame it has to be laycock.. oh well.. i suppose he could have a good game..
houli is a big out.. i was really looking forward to seeing watson, houli and stanton in the middle at once..

Its a bit of a worry for Mal Michael that Knighter doesn't see a place for him in this game. I dont know there are too many players in the comp he still matches up well on but surely Lynch would be almost his most suitable matchup. It's true they only have 2 talls up forward ( I doubt they can spare Hunter there if we have LLoyd Lucas Neagle andMcphee playing forward)but Fletch can be very effective zoning off one of their medium size forwards. particularly at T Dome so would have thouhjt give Mal a go. Hard to see much future for him if he's not rated for this game.

Mal's non inclusion might be because of the 4 day break between the Bendigo game on monday and fridays game...At least that all i hope it is..
