Who did you support in the VFA/VFL before the AFL reserves came into the league? Lets use Melbourne and Williamstown as an example. Did any Williamstown supporters stop supporting them after Melbourne merged with Sandy? Or did you continue to support Williamstown and think bugger the Melb/Sandy merger?

i use to follow the dandenong redlegs before they folded, i actually got paid to do the scoreboard for them!
after they folded i kind of followed the frankston dolphins because a few of the dandenong players went there but now i follow box hill because of their alliance with hawthorn!

Mate..I'm one of the lucky ones...followed Box Hill and Hawthorn all my life. As far as I'm concerned this is heaven.

Followed both Coburg and Fitzroy all my years, last years alliance WAS heaven. Now I've lost both clubs in my opinion. F*ck off Richmond.

Followed Fitzroy and Oakleigh, though only saw about three Oakleigh matches, luckily enough including one win! (against Willy at Oakleigh).

Oscar Impossibletospellsenn had a few years at my home town, Marnoo, after Oakleigh, so the link, although coincidental, suited me.

Oakleigh folded, and then with the Coburg-Fitzroy venture, I went to City Oval for a couple of years. It wasn't the same, of course, but because my interest in Oakleigh had never been pronounced, I was able to adapt.

Well, now its off to the Ammos, and, at least, back to Brunswick St Oval! Let's see if I kill this team off, too.

For those doubting that my bad luck is really that tangible, I went on the wagon three and a half weeks ago, haven't had an alcoholic beverage since then.

So what happens to beer? Price goes down, doesn't it.

I have been with Coburg all my life. I go to most of their home games. With the Fitzroy supporters their last year I enjoyed the atmosphere at the games. I am hoping that we can get crowds like last year. We got more than 3000 people on a number of occasions even though the club didn't have many wins. Have to thank Richmond because if they hadn't merged with us then the club would have gone under.
