The Demon

I find it puzzling to say the least, that in a year of great celebration for the MFC(150th Year of existence) that the head of the governing body of the competition feels the need to sink the boots in at every opportunity.
It's almost as if he senses a wounded animal and is hoping for the opportunity to finish it off.
The MFC is a massive part of the history of the competition and one would think that the head of the AFL would also want to honour this great club.
On the contrary Demitriou goes around in this milestone year for the MFC and threatens it at every opportunity!
Seems a strange way to act given that not only is the 150th year a great point of celebration for the MFC but should also be something to celebrate for the AFL, that they have such a club in its competition that is one of the oldest and proudest football clubs in the world.
Supporters should get in touch with newspapers and talkback radio stations and ask this question re Demetriou's attitude and treatment of the MFC in it's 150th year. It's time to turn the heat back on him and his dictatorship!
