Cox and Glass out possibly? I'd like to see them have a rest and get themselves right, what's there to lose? It's been a bit weird watching them play the last few weeks, you can just tell they're injured.
Waters and Hansen might get a call up. Waters was only out for 2 weeks yeah?

Will McKinley be right to go? I saw on AFL teams that they had him listed as being back in RD 13.
Agreed on Kennedy and Kerr coming back, Braun and Fletcher also.
Outs will be interesting. Definately Seaby, Davis probably and Houlihan a possibility as well?
As long as Seaby is out, Cox could have two broken feet, a broken arm, a dislocated shoulder and I would still rather him play than a fully fit Seaby.

Hurn should be back aswell.
man i have no idea what the changes are going to be....cox? kerr? glass?
whatever happens, happens.
i wouldnt mind seeing cox get a rest and seaby get a go as main ruckman. he just cant get into it when stuck as second stringer.

IN: Mackenzie, Fletcher, Waters, Kerr, Kennedy
OUT: Seaby, Houlihan, Davis, Gless (Rested), ???
Give Glass a rest...He needs it....Bringing in Mackenzie will give us another tall option down back and still have HUnter and Wilkes who could play the FB role...Dunno who the other out could be.

It will give us a 15 goal loss instead of 10. Glass with an injured foot is far better than exposing a kid to getting pumped by his direct opponent. I agree with everything else though if fit. McKinley and LeCras hopefully will get 6 weeks workign with Lynch Kennedy/Hansen, Wirra, Stakes/Ebert. No consistency in the midfield means we are going to be massacred.
Where's Rosa? Hansen a possiblity?

Wilkes has locked himself in hasn't he?
i'd drop staker just because he's a dumbarse.
i try to like staker, i really really do...but he makes you want to kill everything.
he does something really great, then ____s it up in a heartbeat...maybe im being a bit too harsh.

When does Waters come back from suspension?

Hunter is a glory hog. Twice tonight I saw him go for a spectacular pack mark when he could've kept his man out of the contest and Cox/Staker would've had easy uncontested marks deep in the forward line. Net result 2 WC players up 1 Essendon and the ball comes to ground the other Essendon player swoops on it and it's gone.

i wouldn't mind 2 weeks without footy to get some guys back.
from about round 9 last year onwards, it seems that for every guy we get back on the paddock we either lose two players, or we lose a better player....
this is just so so frustrating.
Beau is back this week
If that's the case, bring in Kerr, Waters and Kennedy/McKinley if they're both fit.

Sorry to the young kids but Houli and Davis aren't quite in our best 22 when we have Kerr and Waters playing at the moment.

I agree, it seems luck is against us when it comes to our players, whenever one seems to come in we lose a better quality or 2 players....
And i have some funny feeling we're gonna get Humiliated and slaughtered like the infamous Richmond v.s Geelong match in round 7 last year i think, though we will give a little more fight then Richmond did that match

and this week is no different, with varying reports of injuries to B Jones, Glass and Cox... knowing our luck 2 of them won't play next week. not to mention someone will go down on the training track.
anyway... we'll just keep plugging away.
Hopefully Kennedy and McKinley are back soon and we'll have Lynch, JK, BMac and Leca all up front to start getting some system together.

Chuck Selwood on him definately. Stanton beat him tonight clearly but i think thats because of the mindset Selwood might've had. Stanton isnt having the best season this year and Selwood may have been asked to run off him more but this obviously didn't work.

Cox is obviously injured, but if Seaby couldn't step up tonight can he ever ? Lynch was doing at least half of the rucking in the second half that I could see.

Hunter's 'glory hogging' damn nearly got us back into the game !
If he'd been able to kick better - and that failure is because of the injury he's still carrying - we'd have been in with a sniff.
I'm glad to see him back.

In some ways it is, but really, the moment finals became unlikely, every injury is a coin with two sides- better it happen this year than in a season where it could cruel a run at a flag. We've probably lost two games thanks to injuries this year, and in the long run I suspect that will be the difference between a top 5 pick and a spot in the 10th-13th zone of useless finishes.
With subi fixtures against both us and Freo, I suspect Melbourne have a lock on the wooden spoon, which is really the only thing left for us to worry about avoiding.
Other than that, it becomes a three way competition for pick order between us, Freo and Essendon

Spangher and Mackenzie a chance depending on their WAFL matches this week. I'd personally back Spangher in to be more succesful at defending this week. Then again Hunter may just go into defence.

Jesus, Stinga wont be dropped unless injured.

If Kenendy plays this week ill send my shaved pubes to him in a envelope. No chance.
B-Mac is a 50/50 call but personally I wanna see us shorten up a hell of alot and just throw alot of midfielders in. I got a feeling Fletcher wont get up for this week so throw in B-Mac for him
Ahh no Fridge then?

His injury was only listed as 2 weeks.
Those are West Coast weeks. I believe the official equation is
Weeks x Suma comments divided by Lachy Reid exclusives = when he will return
So atm its 2 x 3 / 2 = Hes got atleast one more week left
McKinley is playing in the WAFL this week.

Braun, Fletcher, Armstrong, Waters, Kerr and Hansen all played in the 06 GF and are out of the side.
Kennedy, Hurn, Mckinley and Rosa didn't, but are also out of the side and are arguably all best 22 players.
S Selwood, C Jones and Spangher have also all played this year.
Injuries permitting, I reckon we'll make a bunch of changes this week. I just want to see Kennedy, LeCras and Mckinley in the one forward line.

pretty sure, they are struggling with their injury at the moment and if you want our "fittest" side out there, those 2 aren't looking very 'fit' hence my comment. I'm just saying it's a possibility.

Doubt the Fridge and Mckinley will be right this week...If Staker gets another game i will be fuming...he has been terrible.
If Fletch or Brauny dont come good for the game keep Ravis in...the kid puts his body on the line and is starting to find the footy quite a bit.
How far away is the Fridge and McKinley?? If McKinley playing WAFL is it a form thing. Surely he would come straight back in.

theres definately something wierd about mckinley missing, first he was dropped, then it was out for exams, then it was a shoulder injury and was having surgey then he ends up playing for the royals, can tell me what the f*cks going on...

I read in the West that he didn't want surgery and wanted to play through the season.

Who is this "Gibson" person ? Is he some sort of "in joke" among Eagles fans on this board ? He isn't on the Eagles list (senior or rookie), so why does he get mentioned ?

theres an sgio ad where darren glass and woosha are at a press conference announcing our new chb is stan gibson who is definitely over the age of 60. the look on glass's face when gibson pumps his guns is priceless.

Most of the time I'd just ignore this sort of comment(because we'd be going so well it'd be common), but the way we've been at home since the Carlton game has been more than impressive considering we're 15th on the ladder.
The Cats won't underestimate us. If they do, they'll lose, simple as that.
Then again, we seem to play other sides into form(last years Rnd 7 game against the Cats was considered the foundation of their premiership, at least by me). So they'll win by 20 points.:thumbsd:
