One woman can make baby in nine months.
But nine women cannot make baby in one month.
Some things just take time. From the comments from other supporters and those in the media we are doing the right thing developing and playing our youngsters (not that we have a choice with injuries)
Hunter up forward looks like a long term winner for me.
Lynch playing in the ruck and around the ground is new and working well.
Wilkes and Schofield down back look promising.
Ebert, Masten, Houlihan, J Mac and Butler back look like a good core of mids to build with.
Can't wait to see a fit Kennedy, Le Cras and Ben McKinnely play in the same forward line together.
Add Kerr, Waters, Hurn, Rosa, S Selwood, M Brown and some quality 2008 draftees into the mix and we will push for the eight in 2009.

Especially once he gets his kicking back. He was clearly just stabbing at it last night.
LeCras Kennedy Lynch
McKinley Hunter Wirrpanda
That could work. Both key forwards know how to take a contested mark!

Obviously none of these women have been with Stan Gibson. 3 weeks, tops
I still think its gonna take one year longer then we all realise. 2010 will be it I think. If we cant beat Essendon atm then we are in alot more trouble then I first thought

Possibly not. No Kennedy, no McKinley, Lynch playing in the ruck due to Seaby's lack of form, and LeCras and Hunter both returning from injury.
Do that much damage to anyone else's forward line, and see how they fare.
If we can pick up at least one mid who doesnt butcher the ball under pressure, and maybe snag a quick player with a later pick, we will be thereabouts in 2009.
The ace in the hole will be your beloved Mitch Brown Embers. If he can come up after the recon, then we're set.

and under no pressure!
at the game last night I saw many times from the kick out the ball would bounce before it got to our player.
I guess thats experience though....

good proverb. it can take as long as it has too as long as we get there in the end
we simply got smashed out of the middle last night against what isn't one of the better midfields in the league. can't imagine what is going to happen against the cats

If you've got nine women and nine months to kill, why not make nine babies?
Why have we been focusing on building only one premiership team?

LeCras Kennedy Lynch
McKinley Hunter Wirrpanda
So keen to see this 6 in action. :D
Also tell Embley so stay away from set shots if he ever drifts down there!

obviously these 9 women have never met chuck norris :p
I agree Hunter up forward looks positive and he played much better this week against the dons then he did the previous week against sydney. (Though still needs to improve on his accuracy infront of goals)
And i agree pushing Lynch up the field seems to be working well too, i was quiet pleased when he rucked in the game against the dons, he is just too strong and he always pulled the ball out of no-where and bombed it forward. Perhaps not the best option but hey, it got the ball in our front line quickly.
And with so many promising talented youngsters: Ebert, Mastern, Kennedy, McKinnely (Just to name some), i can't wait for when waiting finally pays off and to see these guys in full roost.

Good to have you onboard, Embers.:thumbsu:
Will be a magical year, 2010.
I'm loving Lynch playing up the ground further. He's been fantastic and his delivery into our forward 50 is what our mids need to learn to do. Once these kids get some games under their belts they're going to work well I think. We won't be out of it for too long at all!
I still think Hunters best role is a swing man who can do many things...hes the closest thing we have to Adam goodes...
I still think when hes fit and firing hes actually more dnagerous starting games in defnce then moving fwd when teams are tired.....
