It was a short run through today lasting about an hour or so.

MIA - Rocca, Wood and Cox.

Everyone else trained well and no real suggestion that Josh was injured. BT was down there and did a little coaching with Reid but it was really minor.

Oh and FWIW for that dude that posted a thread about why don't people call Pendlebury "Dipper"? Well in fact some of his team mates do call him that when shouting for a pass.

If anyone else went down there please post your thoughts. :thumbsu:

So how did Pendlebury train, did he take part in the whole session, only asking cause if he plays we win, if he doesn't Carlton are a chance.

How did Fraser and Johnson look? I read earlier in the week that both had niggles. Maybe Fraser could play up front a bit tomorrow? And was Leon 100%?

I was down there aswell 3066 and i was with people behind the goals, talking to cole(little, old, funny training guy) and H.Shaw. kicking the footy back to them...
all the boys that were there looked good. Pendlebury was fine, the standout at training IMO was Rhyce Shaw.

I dunno, but here's a wild guess, maybe because he is playing in the VFL this afternoon.

Is it just me or is this board getting dumber by the day?

Don't be narky, Chase. We're just all worn out. Everyone's got battle fatigue in anticipation of tomorrow, and not a blow struck yet.

And now we have to try to listen to the VFL game - terrible reception.

I had to work last night so that I wouldn't have to work tommorow. My boss is a tad shitty coz I didn't tell him I couldn't work till yesterday. I am battle fatigued from that.

Thank God Pendles/Dipper (whatever you wanna call him) got through.

Then you'd better have a lot of fluids, some manuka honey and just a bowl of soup for dinner. You'll need to be in shape for tomorrow - whatever the outcome. :thumbsu: We all will. And as we're sitting near the Carlton cheer squad, I may have to bite my tongue and restrain myself physically for much of the game. Actually, I'd better get fired up. Better have some Nutolene for dinner.

You do like your red don't you CtA. I'm gunna have a 2002 Saltram No1 shiraz tonight when I get back from the cinema with my daughter. Should be magnificant, has won 3 trophies :D. If your ever in Mildura look me up, got a pretty good wine collection. Though its rapidly shrinking(did have about 20 dozen) though cause I'm no longer in that industry. i probably wont be real flash for tomorrows game, but shit happens.
I wactch the replay of pies v cats again tonight :D

Nice one Swanny. :thumbsu: I was standing where most people were with my pushy and yep I agree R Shaw is really pushing along quite nicely and no doubt one fit bastard. There was one point in the training the boys moved in the boundary line to receive low fast kicks from a trainer so I was only a few metres away and boy is Brown one MASSIVE unit. You can no doubt see it on telly or going to a game but from where I was standing he was blocking out the sun! :p

Yep took the whole session. All the boys did.

Fraser looked fine and Johno ran great, in fact the last ones to leave the ground were Johno training with Tarks and Burns with Bluey. Leon just fine too. I'll safely presume all that trained will no doubt play.

Apart from Brown's massive size I was really impressed seeing Marty Clarke train because I hadn't seen him train since his first pre-season last year. Boy what a natural sportsman.... and that little chip kick he does running along when the ball is on the ground just has to be introduced sometime as part of his natural game. The last thing about Marty is that he is still learning to kick on his right while running as he guided the ball with his left hand. It was cute though (innocent) .... reminded me when I was a young tacker trying to work out kicking on my left on the run. :D

Thanks for the info, should be right tomorrow now with pendles back, and reidy will give us another option up forward.

On a side note, saw the Doggies play live today, will be tough next week but they are a similar side to Geelong now. So many handballs from the dogs, if we put the pressure on like we did against Geelong we are a big chance.

Oh yeah, I love a nice Merlot or Cab-Sav.:thumbsu:
Don't tell anyone but I'm quite partial to an unwooded Margaret River Chardonnay as well
Hmm, I'm pretty sure I could put a nice dent in your wine collection as well, thanks :thumbsu:

^^^^^^ It's all up when even the Pies drinkers are departing from the stereotype. I suppose you read Ralph Kyte-Powell too? What happened to binge-drining tinnies on the outer? Are no traditions sacred!

And what happened to those photos of training?????
