Does anyone know how much mothballs are selling for at Kmart???

Really, was anyone silly enough to think the Eagles actually had a chance of beating Port at the weekend given Port's class and winning history at "Fortress Subi"???

Have you mysteriously turned into a Port supporter overnight??

I thought we were a chance, we have beaten better this season and if its one thing Whoosha has done, it is self belief.

I thought we had a chance, albeit thin. I've noticed USAEagles has been a bit quiet lately. I wonder what happened to his positive thinking that was going to enable the Eagles to win the last three matches?

Some people actually work for a living.

I was a believer till mid fourth quarter on saturday night...especially after that 5 goal run.

You BB obviously don't believe in anything. Why don't you go support the Dockers. At least your pessimism will be well founded there.

If we'd had the same side available that beat Brisbane we can beat anyone at Subi

Me too! But then, I am silly enough to believe we will win every week and tip us too!

I was silly as well

Not forgetting that we've beaten sides the calibre of Brisbane and Adelaide here, why shouldnt we have a bit of hope??

I'm silly every week.

The good news is that under Woosha this year, there have been genuine grounds for optimism in every game - and in just about every game, we've been competitive.

Port were outstanding in the conditions, we gave it our best shot, but were beaten by the better side on the day. That's footy.

You seem to be intimating something. Can you be a bit more specific?

I believe in myself, dic khead - because I can control my actions. There's no point running around and shouting out that the Eagles win the last three games. No point in being positive if firstly, you have absolutely no control over the outcome, and secondly, if it is unrealistic.

So tell me Mr "I'm so yankee doodle-dandy" Positve, what did you gain from stating that the Eagles would win their last three games?

Don't know - maybe we could ask some Carlton supporters - they've had a couple of months to look up the prices....

Uh because we also lost to Melbourne just a fortnight ago and were forecast to play in what became possibly the worst conditions experienced at Subiaco this year?

Fair call - but that doesnt mean you go into the game expecting to watch your team lose

Theres always a glimmer of hope

Of course there is always a glimmer of hope - but when the odds are firmly stacked against winning, it is stupid to think your team will win every time. This is what Collinwood fans were doing for the best part of the 90s.

I prefer to make a realistic judgement rather than expect my team to win week in, week out.

GUYS GUYS GUYS.....all this bad karma wont get us anywhere!
We have to get out our praying materials and pray like all buggery together and hope that we can get over the line against the roos and then hope that Carlton beat Essendon.
REMEMBER: The group that pray like buggery together win together!!! :D :D :D :D :D
GET YOUR MINDS BACK ON THE JOB AT HAND- ENOUGH OF YOUR PETTY BICKERING!

It is a sign of a lack of any substantive argument when someone resorts to calling someone else names.

Why is it that only you keep dragging my American-ism into this? I don't insult you for being an Australian.

My heritage has nothing to do with the West Coast Eagles. I have been passionate about several teams, like the Seattle Sonics, Seahawks, Mariners, and the University of Washington Huskies Gridiron team, but I have never shouted myself out of a voice at any of their games, whereas I come out of almost every West Coast game wondering if I will ever speak again without hurting.

Yes I am an American Citizen. So what? I live here. This is my home. Do you eat at McDonalds? Do you drive a Ford or a Holden? Do you watch American TV shows? If you hate Americans and American things so much make sure you don't do any of those things.

Honestly, when I said we would win the next three, it wasn't meant as an insult to you personally, nor did I have any idea you were going to take it so personally. I love the Eagles. I apologise for that. I, like a lot of other people on this board go into every game thinking we can win, because we can. I mean, who would have thought that Carlton would win last weekend, or that the Saints would even come close?

Anyone? I thought not. I think we can win. I hope we do. Sorry pal, but you will not change that, no matter how many names you call me.

Stop avoiding the question. I asked you what you were implying by this question.

It is pretty obvious that you have assumed that I am either a student, or unemployed. Wrong on both counts.

You seem to over estimate your intelligence. You seem to know what my employment status is without me telling you, and you seem to know that the Eagles win win their last three.
