Credit to the Hawks firstly, superb games by Hodge and Brown in particular. Hodges goal in the last quarter was pure class under immense pressure.
However Adelaide did themselves no favours by refusing to play man on man in the last quarter. I watched Melbourne try and zone off against Collingwood last week and it cost us any chance of winning and Adelaide did the same to themselves tonight.

Did well to almost snag a win, to be honest.
We had Vince, MacKay, Porplyzia and Maric on the ball for most of the last quarter. About 60 games experience all up amongst that.
Leading for most of the game, we probably should have won, but we aren't in the top echelon yet, I don't think any honest Crows fan thinks we are.
Disappointed, but we'll learn from it.

What cost Adelaide the game was the two consecutivemissed frees over-the-shoulder to Rutten & Doughty which resulted in a Hawks goal, and the failure of the umpires to bring back the ball after Tippet got tripped.

Care not to mention jordan lewis being scragged by Scott Stevens when going for a mark??
The umpires let a lot go, was reasonably consistant all night. Don't think they influenced the game at all. Tippett's decision, well agree it should have been brought back, but really, you play on in that position you deserve to lose it.

Would have been a genius with 5/5 tips. On the other hand, they did let Sydney into the top 4, so I'm happy with that.

What the hawks did was exactly what earned us the tag of boring. Nothing wrong with it, I just think it's amusing that now that other teams do it their fans love it.

I am currently on 5/5 not rocket science.
Freo were cherry ripe for a win and the Hawks were always the favourites IMO.

Tipping isn't rocket science? Really?
Bock had a awesome game but i thought dropped an easy mark that lead to the Hodge goal... no direct presure... normally he'd eat them up... was a costly mistake... still crows dominated posession imo & should of went on to win... well done by the hawks to pull off a nice W that they really never looked like doing

we won for the same reason we beat north earlier in the year, you missed opportunities early and we wer able to get our act together
