View Full Version : Sheedy Assesment of Collingwood
KEVIN Sheedy re-rates - and re-names - the AFL line-up at the season's turning point
COLLINGWOOD CREW
Godfather Eddie couldn't watch Underbelly here in Victoria, but be wary of his team - it is intimidating, as seen against Geelong.
Where they're at: Mick Malthouse has gone 14 years without a premiership, so the game owes him one. He's ready to pump out his chest like Napoleon.
Must lift: It's time for Josh Fraser to star week in, week out.
Shining light: Leon Davis is now an A-lister. Dale Thomas and Scott Pendlebury are on the verge.
Road ahead: Not an easy run, with a few tricky road trips. Certain to be thereabouts.
Prediction: 15W, 7L = 60pts (5th)
What do we make of this?

5th for the third year in a row. Missing out by percentage again no doubt. Boy would that piss us off.

I certainly do respect Sheeds, and I actually agree with what he says.
But his prediction is only as good as any of ours.

1 win or loss outside of his tips and everything is different.

Our Season comes down to 2 games,
Sydney vs Collingwood
Collingwood vs Sydney
Win them both, we finish top 4, lose 1 we finish 5th.
No mention of that from sheeds, apart from that he was pretty fair.
