Is it time that a quiet word was had with the umpiring department about the treatment Lewis gets? The guy only has to fart near a player and he'll get a free kick and 50 metres against him, but when the opposition absolutely savage him NOTHING BLOODY HAPPENS!
He's probably brought this on himself a little, but when he was held, scragged, etc in the forward pocket and didn't get a free... that was just pathetic!
The umpires have clearly got it in for him as a whole. :thumbsd::thumbsd::thumbsd::thumbsd:
(Apologies if this is already up... probably is, but couldn't see it)

It depends on the intensity, aroma and duration of the fart. Some of mine warrant a suspension - infact my girlfriend rubbed me out for 3 weeks recently after an over zealous Dutch Oven

LOL, is there such a thing??? classic
Yeah I reckon that Jordy usually cops a bad time with the umps, but has brought it on himself. The 50 was stupid and was there, but he does seem to cop the rough end more than he gets em.

Can you imagine if Goodes did a Barry Hall and king hit Lewis.
I think Lewis would get 6 weeks for rough conduct with his fist.

It's so obvious now that Jordan Lewis is a marked man by the umpires. The umpires go into games conscious of certain players, whether it's Lewis or J Carr for example, and umpire them differently to everyone else. I'm not really arguing about the brain explosions that should be penalised but you can see the umpires sweating on them to pay a free kick against them for anything they can but when they get mauled it's like it didn't happen.
Not sue whether meeting Gieschen would help, Lewis probably needs to change his style a bit and be a "cleaner" for a while, like Mooney (mostly), before the umpires change their view of him.
Yes, I think that 50 against him was very harsh, considering that the umpires were generally letting a lot go. He just contested for the spoil only slightly late, and then the umpire decided to give him 60m's rather than just 50, because the umpire wasn't too sure whether Lewis realised how much he hates him.
The umpiring in the 2nd half was very poor, and most appropriately would go under the title home town decision. We didn't get 1 holding the ball, and plenty against. Then scragging on Lewis and Rioli was so obvious because they were clear one on one contests where no players could've been blocking the view of the umpires adn their jumpers were almost being ripped off.
Thankfully it's highly unlikely we will play the Crows over there in the finals.

I think he's brought it on himself, the same way Barry Hall has.
Not quite sure what Buddy has done to piss off the umps though???

haha that's gold:thumbsu:
The umpires hate lewis, that 50m penalty wasn't even there, watch the replay he hardly touched him. Probably that doughty bloke was it that threw his head back every time he was tackled, glad the umpires didn't fall for it for most the night.

He does it every week and needs to get it out of his game.
It shits me because he is such a good and important player.

Yes yes and yes
Great player, but repeatedly a dopy prick. Gives away rubbish free kicks and 50s and gets sucked into rubbish reports as he has no self control.
Love him, but he is clearly as thick as 2 shorts.
If/when he ever gets this nonsense out of his game, he will be an out and out star. I think the channel 10 video of clarkson bawling him out on the bench sums it up. If any of our fans think that Lewis has the balance right, perhaps watch him being berated on the replay and see what clarko thinks..

Jordan was late in, but the Adelaide player saw it was him and staged for the 50.
The umpires really need to get off his back. I really think he is trying damn hard at the moment, and to aggressively and unfairly penalise him is really hurting him mentally.

Nah, the 50 was clearly there. No excuse.

Giving away more free kicks than any other player last year hasn't helped :p.
