What more can you say?

Just as long as he don't get convicted.

I dont think we are nearly as Buddy central as L.A are with Kobe.

Buddy doesnt choke in the playoffs. :D

I think a better comparison is Buddy = Lebron. Similar physical attributes with unlimited talent.

I hope the Hawks have more success in the final than the Lakers are having at the moment.

Bit harsh, he had a decent game in game 3

Buddy > MJ

... to much?

respect to BT for bringing NBA references back, but no.

Kobe is a ball hog, terrible leader, selfish player, but of course also a brilliant talent.

Buddy is like Scotty Pippen. A versatile athlethic tall who can do everything, and has the quickness of a smaller guy...

LeBron is a bit more of a tank than our Buddy!

The greats lead their team to greatness. Cue Michael Jordan

Apparently the Lakers aren't a one man team anymore because they've got Gasol, Odom and they got Fisher back.

His got more MJ in him then Kobe though.

He's been better this year, but one swallow doesn't make a summer.
Throughout his career, people who would know (team-mates, experts) have all said similar things about his attitude.

Last week Boston baseballer Curt Shilling sat behind the Laker bench - check the fifth paragraph for what he saw and heard: http://38pitches.com/2008/06/09/manny-jd-papi-lester-and-the-nba-finals/

Anyway, sorry to hijack the thread. Kobe's a great player, just not a great team guy IMHO

Ummm... Lebron is a massive unit and he also shot for crap in the finals. I'd class that as a bit of a choke.

LeBronze is no Kobe Bryant!

Kobe and Buddy are so similar in there athletic ability and freakishness, i think thats what Brian Taylor was getting at, there both match winners who feel no pressure at all in any situation!

LeBron is not on that level......or atleast yet!

Buddy would make a good basketballer thats for sure!

Horsesh*t. I've seen Buddy pass.

That's something Kobe cannot define with an 8ft dictionary staring him in the face.

Kobe is a c**t.

Hodgepodge

Buddy averages about 16 possies a game and 9 shots at goal, so he'd be passing almost half his possessions.

Mate have u ever seen Kobe Bryant play???

Kobe Bryant is a Shooting guard??....he shoots the ball, name another Shooting Guard in the NBA that averages more than 5 assists a game???

Exactly.....There isn't much of a difference between Kobes assists and MJ's assists!....i guess MJ is a ballhog aswell then right??

Kobe sets up a lot more of his teammates than his stats show too!

That's Kobe man, he's a perfectionist.

You can't say what this bloke said about Kobe, who's a complete newbie to basketball as well, is a bad thing. So he's getting in his teammates ear about executing the right offence and hustling on D? Every leader goes about their business in a different way, that's Kobe’s, he's always getting at his teammates to improve, his squad is extremely young, and he's taken them to the NBA finals, so you can't say his leadership is bad.

Michael Jordan was exactly the same to his teammmates!

Possibly Harder, to the point that Scottie Pippen and Jordan did not talk off court!

If Buddy is Kobe then Mark Williams has some explaining to do.

I've certainly seen him play.

This is his thinking: "Give me the ball, I'm the man".

If he doesn't get it, he cracks the shits. It was there for all to see when the scum choked game 2 in Boston after leading for ages.

He's the team, he has no teammates, that's his only thought process. It's why Shaq finally had enough and moved on from his BS.

Now please, go ahead and replay today's 39 point smashing. :D
