It sure as hell won't be the Aints or Port Pathetics.

I think we will. But only just.

i think our injuries will make it hard for us to make it.

but we still might.

North or Port are going to get the eighth spot.

Should've added the Tiges in that list. We have the easiest draw of the 5 ahead of us and could conceivably be inside the 8 by the end of next weekend.

Surely Carlton.

Carlton... I'd say the deserve it a lot more than North right now, and they are improving- North are on the way down.

I think the Kangaroos will just seems like the most likely choice

On the form of the past 2 weeks, the probebly deserve it, but they have a very tough run home (as do we.) The Saints (whom many are writing off) have a relatively easy draw.

Was about to say North but looking at their draw for the remaining matches and it is definitely the hardest of those four. Thing is none of the other teams really seem to have the skill or the heart to make it. I wouldn't have the faintest to be honest.

I think Carlton might, I don't see north winning many of those matches with the injuries they have. Besides all that, it's not like 8th is going to matter anyway.

I think all 4 sides will win 4 matches each.

Richmond could possibly win 4 or 5.

Crucial matches - North v Stkilda in round 14

Carlton v Richmond in round 14.

If pushed I'd go with Port.

North next as they have shown the best form against top 4 sides.

Who'll get this final spot?

Bold are the wins for mine...

I think that the injuries to North are gonna cause a bit of a fade in the second half of the year... although u can just never tell with north..

The Saints are just a shambles and i cant see them winning a whole lot more.. their mids are too slow and their forwardline aint cutting it..

Port will win at home and thats where they could sneak a couple away wins to sneak in.. They can turn it on when u think they're finished so i reckon they're a true chance at taking it..

Carlton have a few winnable matches coming up but a tough last 7, so its gonna be if we can snatch a win or two from a well placed side... But with several players coming back from injury in the second half, we may have the legs to run it out..

Either Port or Carlton for me... Depends on whether the blues capitalise on the next few weeks..

Just for Comparison

Richmond

Port - AAMI
Carlton - MCG
WCE - Subi
Essendon -MCG
Brisbane - TD
Geelong - TD
Adelaide - AAMI
Hawthorn - MCG
Freo - MCG
Melbourne - MCG

First 4 are winable, as are the last 2.

Not saying we'll win them all, let alone make the finals, but we are in the mix...probably miss out by 4-6 points...might even come 9th :)

Carlton by default. I'd like to see North make it, though they didn't look like top 8 material the other day especially with a mounting injury list.
Port & Saints..no chance.

So is Brisbane the way they played on the w/e

We would obviously really struggle to not get pummelled in that horror stretch across rounds 18-20 but the rest of the games are winnable.

Though Carlton will pump us if they play like they have been (& we have been) recently.

If we managed 4 of the next 5, and the last 2, that'd be what 10.5? Surely that's not enough to give us 9th? :( lol I'd rather finish 10th!

At full strength, we are a definately chance. I just can't help but think the Saints might pull the digit out.

I'd love to say Carlton, but i just can't see us winning all 5 of the games that i'd call our winnable games. The games against Essendon, Richmond, Saints, Power and North are all winnable, but to be honest i think we will be lucky to win 3 of them. The other games we are stuffed.

Will be a tough one, but i still think the saints will just fall over the line. They still have the class, can't really blame injuries this year as most of their guns are out on the park. They are just down on form.

Wouldn't surprise me if they snuck into 7th and someone like Collingwood fell to 8th.
