Let's face it, we all thought Carlton would be in full-tank mode come Round 22, but they're looking great thus far this year.

After watching them today, I reckon it'll be a great tussle - particularly if Buddy and Fev are around the 95 goal mark leading into the game!

Let's focus on the Kangaroos in Rd 13 first mate.

But, yes, Carlton are on fire and it is a huge surprise. Personally, I think the Pies are overrated, but that shouldn't take anything away from the Blues, well done Carlton. I still expect to smash them as they will be tired and we will be pushing for a top 4 finish. Our game plan will allow us to score highly against them and if Croad can stop Fev, then we'll win easily.

But back to round 13, the Kangaroos...

Mate, if we don't win that game by 75+ i will be shattered.
Carlton are crap the only side they play well against is collingwood and they are still going to lose to them

we should have our full list by then but then againt rnd 22 last year againts the swans we tanked to save our players for the finals and looked what happend...

imagine this, we have our full list and play them all againts the blues in the last home and away game and we loose one or two through injury would a win over carlton be better than having our full list come finals..........

I,m in mixed feelings...........

Have a bet on this game for a carton of beer with a Carlton supporter from work. Made at the start of the season.

2 games doesn't make a season, it was only a month ago they were smashed by Adelaide in Melbourne and before that lost to Essendon and Richmond

Seem to remember they were looking pretty good this time last year, that all changed on a night though ;)

Scheduled at the Telstra Dome - which locked out fans last year (with an all-time record crowd at the venue).

On the same day this year North Melbourne play Port Adelaide at the MCG.

Fair to say that the AFL treat the Hawthorn Football Club and its fans with complete and utter disregard.

Oy Phil ever heard of the old cliche "One weak at a time"! :p

Nah just joshing should be a great game but I don't see why we can't beat them by 100+ points again, as they've improved we have improved equally as much, and are arguably the best team in the competition ATM.
