I just can't manage to give votes, because at times a lot of players played really well. But the reason we lost today was the second quarter, and I just can't give votes for anyone who was really bad in that second quarter (ie. Jeff White). Plus I can't really remember what happened, it was just a horrible quarter of footy.
Wheatley, Bruce, Garland, Green and Bartram can probably split the votes. Not sure what to make of Dunn's game, he did keep Foley quiet, but he gave almost nothing the other way. Likewise McLean and Jones, they were good at times, but in that second quarter Tuck and Deledio ran riot.
For all the CJ and Bode baggers out there I'd be willing to give those two another run. I think Warnock did pretty well on Richo, I mean he was obviously instructed not to follow him up the field (bad move Dean) and when in defence he kept him to 5 scoring shots and some of them from tough angles (who knew Richo could kick straight). Frawley will continue to learn, we would all love Rivers and Bell in fit and firing, but until then Frawley has to keep learning, and its a whole lot better than playing Nathan Carroll.
Sylvia wasn't quite as bad as his stats say, but still hasn't put two solid games together. Yze was rubbish. Wona and Davey I think were victims of being stuck in a horrible forward line, but the last quarter showed that they can work beautifully in tandem.
Bate and Miller need to figure this shit out, and get back to good footy, both were ok today, but have so much more to give. Morton needs a well earned rest (important to note he still had 20 touches today). PJ was down on usually, and for a ruckman manages to some how not get off the ground when he is playing forward, can it be that hard to just bring the ball to ground. McDonald was solid in patches, but not his usually reliable self in others.

3 - McLean - Great consistency, big push for captaincy next year
3 - Bruce - Solid game and should have had 3 goals. Was useles in the 2nd though :(
1 - Wheatley - He's been doing this for a while though. Give him a bit of a break. He is a decent player!

Good to see Morton can get the ball, it all stops there though. Disposal the last two weeks has been awful, time for a rest. Sh!ts me too that Bruce can miss from 25 out practically straight in front. Had he kicked that one early in the second I reckon it would've been a different story.
5- Bruce
3- Brock
3- Garland
1- Davey (3rd qtr effort)
No votes to Wheatley, got it 30 times, but doesn't kill the opposition. Cheap handball receives through which he should be destroying it with his foot, yet routinely looks laterally and spots up free players who have questionable footskills (at least less than that of Wheatleys)
Bruce best on, Mclean was there all day, but as far as giving him top votes, thought Bruce was more influential. Brock may get 30 touches a week, but how he uses them has a big impact on whether the boy plays well or not.
Judy again impressed. Showed that he's prepared to try wherever the coach wants him to play, nice to see him take the game on and run with the ball. Daveys game, and 3rd qtr especially got me excited. He is a class above everyone else in our side when it comes to polish and game-turning ability. No-one else ever looks like they can, or wants to take the game by the neck and make it their own. Shocker from Wona, but Daveys recent games have shown how valuable he is to us.

3rd game in a row, we could have won.
I thought that Wheatley played terrible, f****d it up most times he got it, Davey played well after his injury (nice grab over Richo), Yze is just sh*t.
WE NEED TO LEARN HOW TO SHEPARD !!!
Lets hope for an upset over the Swans next week !

Hard to believe he was getting crucified on this board a few weeks ago. The boy can play and will only get better. Only spent half a season with Tas. U/18 before being drafted. Went from playing under age in a local comp to playing VFL in a year. So very much untapped!
