Needs to learn to do the normal easy thing, too many look away handballs dont hit targets.
Just handpass or kick the thing normally sometimes.
Otherwise looks a player

Yeh he didnt play well today(no one did) but he looks a real great player.
It's important they don't drop him after 1 ordinary game today. It would be a kick in the guts after some pretty impressive outings.

I've said it before, the kid has the total package in terms of tools and talent, IMO more than any other midfielder we have including Pendles. He doesn't have any weaknesses to his game tool wise, he can do everything good to very good. But he is extremely raw at this point, and cannot do those things with any kind of consistency.
You can see he knows how to find the ball both inside and outside, sometimes at will, but has a tendency to drift out of games, I think completely due to his concentration levels. If he can rectify that with experience, he will be getting 25-30 possies a game easy. I think he is someone that at this point in his career consistently needs a kick up the backside to get him to fire up because when he gets aggressive he plays good footy. Today that almost nonchalant one handed handball receive which he fumbled, was an indication that his concentration level wasn't where it should be.

i dont think he was ordinary at all, he wasnt in our best but i think there are senior players who should get dropped ahead of him anyhow

Cant see him playing every game this year from now on, but i believe he will be a half forward, come midfielder, playing all games from next year on.
He has what we need, pace, skill and flair.
Great pick up for a rookie again.
Would love to see him and Dick on same forward line, allowing davis and thomas to push up into the midfield.
