Is Yarren the Next Burgoyne.
Looks like one, Moves like one, About the same Hieght and has unbelieveable skill.
Kicked 5 goals against Claremont IN THE WET!
I think he could be :thumbsu:
There are so many good players in the draft this year. We need more first round draft picks!!!
Yarran would be so handy in our team. So would Rich..so would Hurley..sigh. I cant see him slliding out of the Top 10 but you never know. Stranger things have happened..Hurn..Ebert.

I really hope wce pick him up he has shown so much more then RIch this year and looks like a star 5 goals in wet weather is unbelibeable
My son booted 4.2 in the under 9's this morning in torrential rain! One of those was an amazing checkside 20 metres out in the forward pocket outside the boundary line. Dad was so proud! He could be the next burgoyne?? :D
Never heard of or seen him?
If we get him then I'll take interest, same with Rich or Natanatanataasuiierewegfgfdsoogiboogi

Further convincing me he is the new Gary Ablett Jnr.:thumbsu:
I think he has more talent in his pinky than Burgoyne ever will and he was a freaking gun.
Top 10 pick surely unless he slows down or gets injured.

we all thought sampi would be as good as burgoyne etc. Pick 2/3 is far too high for a small forward IMO. He can be moved in to the midfield, but i would like to see him be given an extended run there and then assess. a player like rich would be far more valuable and important to the team. I would love to see us acquire a pick between 7 and 12 to get yarran, but 2/3 is far too high.
he's the next uninjured judd.

Sampi wasn't tested against league players for a season IIRC. Even then no-one would have seen the mental side of things being the issue, I don't believe. Yarran has kicked 20 odd goals in about 6 matches against league defenders, and he's still only 17.

Would like to give you my exact thoughts on this rather interesting subject but that would be a plain and pure lie. Never seen him but have heard a lot about him, if we get another first round pick it could be possible but hes sounding like superman atm so we'll proberly need more.
Small forwards can be risky and after our last high pick one that didnt last that long, I dont think another real high pick will be used on one so willingly.
