So, who's it gonna be?
Which team would you most/least like to play during the finals?
For mine, i'd hate to come against the Swans. They always seem to kill us, no matter what we do.
As for who i'd like to see us play - Geelong or the Pies.
We always seem to match up well on them. Whilst Geelong would obviously be freakin' hard, i'd also just like to see us play them for the great contest factor.

Then in order or who I'd like to play being 1 and who i'd least like to play being 7.
1. Collingwood
2. Brisbane
3. Adelaide
4. Roos
5. Bulldogs
6. Geelong
7. Sydney

I don't care, if you want to win the premiership you need to be able to beat anyone.

Playing the swans would be toughest, but we'd get them at home and we play them at home soon anyway, we must beat sydney this year, we've beaten every club since the start of 07 season except sydney.

Swans. If we are to finish on top, I think Sydney will finish third or fourth.
If we do have to play them I would rather get it out of the way first final and have a second chance if we drop it.

Worst to play with is Swans and Bulldogs.
I wanted to play the kangaroos last year, and we all know how that ended up so I am going to stay out of this discussion.

Least - Swans.
Most(in order) - Roos Blues Pies Crows Lions.
Difficult regardless - Cats Dogs.
Least - Swans
Most - Dees?

I'd like to reserve judgement on this until we play Sydney.
This year has been a historic one for us so far. We have dispatched of sides , and venues that have consistantly been our downfall for many years. I believe we can beat the Swans in the H & A season, and if we do they won't cause us a problem in the finals. Realistisically, Cats and Dogs would be our biggest problems at this stage of the season. On the other end of the scale, I think we could cover the Pies easily.

I want to play/and beat the Cats in a final and show these weak assed bitches for what they really are.
Oh and the trolling on Bay 13 would be great ;)

Sydney, we always struggle to beat them, i remember back to 96, and we had probs with them then... The matchup vs Syd is biggest game of the year, we finally get to see how far the Hawkers have progressed...
North, they always beat us, when we least need it... It feels like they win 2 out of 3 against us...
Dogs, leg speed, head to head, their midfield kills us with leg speed. Their forward line still a bit questionable though...
ADL, we've won the last 3, but even in winning, 2 of those, were real battles. Their game play, really ties the attacking style of us down...
Wouldn't mind playing Geelong, fairly even, I think it'd come down to Buddy/Rough vs their defence...

Yeah I think North and Hawthorn have a good rivalry going the last few years.
Seems like its a 50/50 game regardless of ladder position when we play each other.
Plus Daniel Wells always saves his best stuff for the hawks for some reason. :confused:

You're telling me. Also I don't think Brent Harvey has ever had a below average game vs the Hawks ever.

Agree - hate to play - Swans
Agree - love to play - Cats/Pies
The rest:
Brisbane - love to play (MCG)
Bulldogs - Not sure. 50/50
Adelaide - love to play (got their measure now)
Carlton - love to play (goal fest)
North - love to but won't be there. Will just have to extract revenge by winning the flag. Pity we won't get to beat them though.
