The odds for this week's game are insane.
Hawks $1.15, Roos $4.80. (according to footytips.com.au)
Now that just seems a LITTLE extreme to me.
What is driving this extreme starting position with the odds?
Hawks on top of the ladder?
North's injury list?
North's loss to Freo?
Crawf, Goo, Taylor to come back (someone else, too).
North just outside they 8?
I was expecting it, at it's most drastic, to open at 1.60/2.30
Especially with Buddy under a suspension cloud, I thought money would be poured onto whoever the hawks were against if this bloke looked like missing a game?!?!

Well....you can put 50 Bucks on north then.....
I for one won't be.
But if that's the odds you know the line will be good. Even if we win you wouldn't think it would be by much. North were terrible on the weekend, but you know they'll lift for us.

THAT'S WHAT I THOUGHT!
What do the bookies know that we don't?
Or are the bookies just way off the mark?
Let's start a rumour.
Boomer Harvey injured? What was that?

Thats true, might be worth a line bet.

You'd expect us to show more spirit this week, but we are just having a bad run with injuries after a good run last year. McIntosh will be a big loss.
The odds look about right to me...though we have matched up ok against you guys in recent times.

You should probably keep in mind that it's Monday as well. Also keep in mind that you're 11-1 and just coming off an inspiring win interstate and they just got flogged by a team that was 1-10 going into the game.

just had a look on the TAB site... odds now sit at $1.12 and $5.25.. a bit ridiculous maybe??

There will be loads of punters jumping on the Kangaroos, at those odds, so if you're going to have a bet hold off till the odds swing about.
People talk about "value" in betting and the Kangaroos at $5.25 are HUGE VALUE! Not saying they'll win, but those odds are crazy!

Agree the $5.25 for the Kangas is top value. Bit of a Danger game for us, tough match last week, a few guys back from injury that may be short on match fitness, and North have that habit of bouncing back.
Realistically, we should win, but we should have won the semi last year too. Never over confidant goign in against the Kangas.

they have no key-position defenders, and you have the most potent combo up forward
