It will be a sad, sad day when the great Richo Man hangs up his boots.
I am not ashamed to say that just the thought of his retirement almost makes me cry like a sissy.
As the most popular player in the AFL, and the entertainment of watching Richo run from full back to full forward and everywhere in between, I would expect a crowd of 100,000+ to give one final Riiiiiiiiicccccccccccchhhhhhhoooooooooooooooo chant for every mark and goal he gets.
So the question asks, will you go to Richo's last game?

If it's against Carlton, yes.
If it's against any other side, no.

...assuming it will be played at the "G". This must become one of those long-running threads, cos that's another 2-3 seasons away!!

I would consider it, as I do any big game if I have time.
Booking tickets for Cats vs Hawks on Thursday :thumbsu: .
so at the moment, richo's last game will have an attendance figure of 9.
how disapointing....

I'd definately be at Harvey's final game as a neutral if I lived in Melbourne. Don't have the same affection for Richo, but I could see the appeal of being there to farewell one of the greats.

Only if Collingwood Where Playing
Only if you go to Rob Harvey's Last Game :thumbsu:
The problem with Harvey is that he isn't an attention seeker like Hird, and he may not announce his retirement until after the season finished.
Although it may not give the supporters a chance to say goodbye, it just strikes me as the kind of person Harvey is.

Harvey has been a great but Richo is more like the star of the show by taking spectacular marks and kicking goals 50m out while running almost as far as Harves these days.
Not comparing the two, but Richo is responsible for keeping an entire generation of Tiger fans passionate about their team and coming week after week just to watch him play knowing the side would lose.
With all due respect, Richo would have more neutrals come to his last game than Harvey.
It will be a huge event, as big as James Hird's farewell game (not saying they're quite at the same level). I just hope it is at the 'G otherwise I'm gunna have to book tickets interstate as soon as the fixture is released.

is he retiring at the end of the year?
the only thing that would stop an enormous croud for his retirement game is it's against melbourne which would limit numbers somewhat

At least alot of neutrals would get a chance to go then.
