Freo winning and us losing to Essendon means we have 15th sown up. Our only competitor really was Freo - but the draws means we are playing the cats and hawks 4 times plus brisbane, whereas Freo are playing easier teams and want and need to win games.

What is with people thinking we will get good picks for duds?

There is no real need for ruckmen like there was last year and Staker will be lucky to get a 3rd rounder. Seaby + Staker and 36 will IMO get us a pick around 20 - 25 if where lucky

Seaby + Staker and 36 will IMO get us a pick around 20 - 25 if where luckyYour probably right to a degree but St Kilda are struggling to put two fit ruckman on the field along with Geelong, Seaby could really blossom at a different club, just finding a club that would want both is where the idea would fall over. I wouldn't say seaby is a dud, a lot of people said the same about Cox when he was a back up to Gardiner, unfortunately I was one of them.:o

IMO we have a good chance of winning several more home games, these being;

St Kilda
Richmond
Essendon

Possibly Melbourne at the MCG.

Basically between 4 - 6 wins.

Freo should finish higher. Richmond, Port and Carlton will definately finish higher. Melbourne will struggle but will win a couple more IMO.

14 - 15th looks like where we'll be at:(

there will be a lot of teams tanking this year i think. i would hardly call it a certainty.. imo richmond will again fall down the ladder and be in the bottom four by the end. i personally think you guys are better then richmond. port will be down towards the bottom and i think the kangas will fall off. it will be a tight race for the bottom four this year

How about predicting our ladder position in 2015 then? Now there's a person with foresight. Especially when you consider that the draftees for 2015 are currently playing under 12's.

Nah, all they care about are their 3 x Grand Finals per year: 1 x NAB & 2 x Premiership Games.

They even have a ticket tape parade down the Crapaccino Strip on each occassion, wholeheartedly embracing and celebrating 14 years of mediocrity.

yes its a bit unfortunate, but i think we can beat essendon and the sts over here.probably the tigers too.our form against sydney and adelaide suggests we can be DANGEROUS on home turf.dont ya love that word.we may even steal the derby.god forbid.its awful when you have to weigh up the joy of flogging freo against maybe losing a rich natanui or yarran.much as i want to win i think the club needs to finish as low as possible.lets face it the club is a business and wants the best return possible.
