what a doosche.....

MICK Malthouse's coaching style against Carlton on Sunday has been attacked by 1990 Collingwood premiership captain Tony Shaw.

Shaw said Malthouse had his priorities wrong and had been badly outcoached by Blues coach Brett Ratten, who is in his first full season as an AFL coach, in the Pies' 30-point loss at the MCG.
Shaw, who played 313 games for the Magpies and coached the club for from 1996-99, slammed Malthouse for the way he used - or didn't use - Shaw's nephew, half-back Heath Shaw.

Widely tipped for All-Australian honours this year, Shaw was successfully tagged out of the contest by the Blues' Bryce Gibbs, picking up just six disposals for the day.
When Gibbs was moved into the midfield to become a destructive force late in the game, Shaw was left to languish in the back pocket on another opponent.

I believe Malthouse is the best coach in the game.

Would kill to have him if Terry is forced to leave.

Does Shaw's (Heath) performance even affect Collingwood's outcome?

Well he has what IMO is an ordinary team performing very very well again this year. They were a kick from winning the GF last year and has taken them to 2 GF's already. Their team does not have any genuine superstars in it at all. Thomas is flashy but no where near a superstar. H Shaw is a good footballer, pendlebury a good footballer. I can't think of anyone else. Didak? Gets a lot of kicks and kicks a few goals but no superstar.

Oh yes MM is a damn fine coach.

you might want to ask the pie supporters about that..
as for Thomas and H Shaw, they would walk into any other side at the drop of a hat. As for Didak, well we have/had Pettifer, do i go on? ;)

1- As a child, were you spoilt rotten or completely neglected?

2 - As a player you survived instigating physical confrontations by hiding behind either umpires or your own players.
Does this speak volumes about you as a person and a father?

3- Even though the average IQ of the Australian rules football fan is 45,you still manage to have the masses refer to you as an imbecile.
How does that make you feel?

4 - Along with Gary Lyon there are no two other
former players who over-rate their playing day worth.
Exactly how do you think history will remember tony shaw,if at all ?

5 - In your day, getting drunk and abusing your wife was acceptable behaviour for an uneducated leader of a football team.
Were there ever any charges laid or did you worm your way out of it because you played for collingwood.

I think all coaches are overated. Most times if the list is good it wins. Just ask Allen Joyce. If a team is getting flogged all the position changes, Interchanges and speeches will not save you.
