Every year you get the same two scenarios at most clubs:
1) Bloke who polls the best for the club in the Brownlow polls nowhere in his clubs B&F; and
2) Hot brownlow prospect polls nowhere, but comes back and takes out his club's B&F by a record margin (and subsequently comes out and says this means just as much, as it shows he had consistency. Rubbish, a brownlow has more pussy-points attached than any B&F).
Anyway, looking back at our matches so far this year, our obvious adoration of Richo, and the outstanding year the big lad is having is overshadowing one of the more pleasing aspects to Punt Rd, and that is the consistency Lids is displaying in his game. Constantly racking up touches, carrying the ball, one of our sharpest deliverers, and being a dangerous target up forward has seen him begin to shake off some of the "hype" (ie, next Judd etc), and share a lot of the workload.
As far as a standout goes, Richo hides behinid no other, but I wouldn't be surprised if Lids would be shading Richo in our B&F at this stage. Glad to see him coming of age.
People conveniently forget that Deledio was one of the youngest players taken in his draft. Likewise Cotchin.
Both will be 200 gamers.

The youngest if I remember correctly. Is fast becoming a gun, and will be one of the elite mids in the game this time next year.

Yeah, but he'll win it this year.
And Richo will just beat Lids in B&F.

Myself and i suspect a few others will be all over the bar at the London should the big fellow jag the Chas this year ... but your point about lids is a good one ...
Having a great year ...
But one thing did concern me Sunday , there has been a question mark over his "Engine" and his ability to really cut it as an elite mid-fielder . Whilst he lit us up in the second quarter and was a star for the bulk of the night .... i reckon he was clearly out of petrol tickets in the last . Was blowing like most of the nags i back ... made a couple of errors in the last quarter due to the fact that he was simply f..ked
Would love to see him really run a solid four quarters out before i start walking around like a half open pocket knife

Know what you're saying iddy, but how many midfielders tuck the pill under their arm and run more than 3/4 of the field at full tilt without the opposition getting so much as a sniff. Twice mind you. Might have had something to do with why he was 'blowing' in the last. Lids will be right:thumbsu:
