At this point in time only three teams have a realistic chance to finish on top of the ladder. Looking at the teams fixtures on the run home, who do you think will finish on top?

Geelongs Run Home:
West Coast @ Subi
Adelaide @ Aami
Fremantle @ Skilled
Western Bulldogs @ Skilled
Hawthorn @ MCG
Richmond @ TD
Melbourne @ MCG
Sydney @ Telstra Stadium
Kangaroos @ SS
West Coast @ SS

Hawthorns Run Home:
North @ MCG
WCE @ MCG
Sydney @ MCG
Saint Kilda @ TD
Geelong @ MCG
Collingwood @ MCG
Brisbane @ Aurora
Richmond @ MCG
West Coast @ Subiaco
Carlton @ TD

Western Bulldogs Run Home:
Collingwood @ TD
Port Adelaide @ TIO (Darwin)
Melbourne @ TD
Geelong @ SS
Carlton @ TD
Sydney @ Manuka (Canberra)
North Melb @ TD
Brisbane @ Gabba
Essendon @ Telstra
Adelaide @ AAMI

* I think Hawthorn have the easiest run home out of the three clubs.

GEELONG: At best, I think we can go 9-1, and at our worst 6-4. I would expect 8-2 with Sydney, Hawthorn, Roos (at skilled) and Adelaide being the biggest 'danger games.' That means Geelong should finish 18-4 to 20-2 (Imagine that!!)

HAWTHORN: At best, once again I think they can go 9-1 but you would expect all three teams to drop one that they shouldnt etc. Hawks danger games are North, Sydney, Geelong and Collingwood. I think Hawks will finish 18-4 or 19-3 (If Geelong and Hawks finished that high.. would this be some kind of record for two teams finishing that high?)

BULLDOGS: I think The doggies will go 7-3 or 6-4. Collingwood, Port, Geelong, Sydney, North and Adelaide are all danger games. I think the Doggies will finish on 16-1-5.

So for me:
Geelong 19-3 or 18-4
Hawks 18-4 or 19-3
Doggies 16-1-5

Yes, I am bored and please ignore the length of the post.. I dont want to study for my exam tomorrow.

Obviously form/injuries can happen, but it should be a gret finish to the season.

Geelong, too strong too quick and a fair few games at skilled.. only danger for them are the sydney and hawthorn games, plus with ottens getting fitter by the game, and chapman back in the side and starring, i think they're due for another flag

cats2rise, i dont see how you cant have the dogs game in your little list of dangerous games. we will beat you and so will hawks the following week

Is there any questioning it'll be the Cats? They have us wrapped around their little paws..but the Hawkers and Doggies and Swannies are closing in

I just cant rate the doggies yet. Ive tried, but I dont see them going deep into september. I missed naming it as a 'danger game' and my apologies, but I doubt you would beat either team.

when you say either team i presume you mean geelong and the hawks. cast your midn back a month ago when we beat the hawks comfortably... keep underestimating us, fine by me

Its a tough one. We have a good run now getting most of the interstate travel out of the way with all but 2 games in Melbourne (1 of those in Tassie)

Cats
Hawks
Dogs

Meh...finishing on top is completely overrated and totally useless unless you perform in September, and WIN the premiership. Just ask Tom Brady and the New England Patriots.....smashed records galore, went through the season undefeated, and LOST the Superbowl.
