I am not talking about comparing ability, but style.
Will he be a quick super mobile FF like Buddy??
Will he be a strong power forward like Bradshaw??
Or will he be a smooth moving tall HF with sticky hands like Robert Murphy??
he'll be like damien monkurst and brent harvey in one.
Probably much like Stan Gibson but not as skilled.
Just like Tony Notte I believe.

It is pretty hard to say what he will be without having a good understanding of how his body will develop. Does anyone have any idea how they are expecting him to shape up?

I agree, He will be similar to Buddy except not as strong and not quite as dominant. He is still very skinny but the Eagles have massive wraps on him. He gets his hands on the footy in the WAFL as well and he is playing on guys with a lot more strength than him. Could be a very good forward partner to Kennedy in 2010.

So Notte will be like Buddy, but without Buddy's best characteristics of strength, size and athleticism??
probably Much Like Stan Gibson But Not As Skilled.

Size wise he would be comparable, and theres no doubting his athleticism either. Strength wise he may not match Buddy, but too early to tell.
Besides Buddy is a freak athelete, there aren't too many like him

He has amazing athleticism, very quick and very tall, hes extremely young so has time to grow further and bulk up a lot
Give Notte 3 years at least to put some size. But i really do thing he can fill out quite well i just saw a pic of him and while he is still a skinny he isnt as bad as when he first came to the club.

I was talking to a guy who plays for the Swans league side and he reckons Tony Notte is going to be a superstar.

Very exciting to watch, tall quick rover who can take a huge mark.

i heard he pushed onto the wing and midfield in his WAFL game last week and he had an immediate impact.
When I watched him at colts the past year he was one that I earmarked as a momentum changer. If the other team was coming back at Swans (let's be honest, we weren't often behind with that team) he would be injected further up the ground and immediately have an impact and be one of the causes for swinging momentum back to Swans.
He would have been an extraordinary sight as the "Big Bird" of leg spin bowlers as well!

What is his weight listed as at the moment? Was 71kg (and 194 cm tall) at the start of last season. Would take another 10 kg to get him to the size of Justin Westhoff from Port Adelaide (and HE looks on the skinny side to me !)

Last I heard (2 or so months ago) he was up 5-6kg, I wonder how's he going now.

Yeh watching him on ABC atm...took a good grab and got a 50m penalty for a goal.
I think I see some deltoid there, thats a good sign. Looks to be a composed young guy.

Commentators were discussing him and said he's a bit unfit and can't keep up with his opponents.

I would think that the eagles coaching staff would rather he hit the gym than the track.

No its Not.:D

Well, that shows how much the commentators a) know, and b) observe. He is 6'5"+ and in the second ran down a 6' midfielder, giving him a 10-15m start. I have little doubt that he is being impacted by the gym work and some weeks he seems flatter than others, but he's not unfit.
