Danny Frawleys country roots brought a new language to the club which enriched the Richmond club supporters.

He managed to beat VAFA and SANFL clubs for the signatures of luminaries such as Billy Nichols and Paul Hudson.

Danny excited the crowd with the booming 15 meter kicks across the ground and ensured Richardson would not run out of breath by stiffling any delivery worth leading for.

His resemblance to an Ape in both appearance and speech enamoured him to the media where he would win such respect that when they needed a village idiot to rival Billy then Danny became the man.

In just a short five years ,Danny Frawley has ensured that , while Richmond may never make the 8 , they will shape it for years to come ,therefore cementing the club's future as an integral part of the competition , vital to the dynamics of the Premiership...well done , DF...:thumbsu:

I would have described Frawley's time at the helm exactly as I would have seen it.

Frawley did do some good things until it went pear shaped after 2002.

You all need to understand that the Tigers progress over the last few year needs to be assessed objectively and without any pre-conceptions.

This is the beauty of our current coaching team lead by TW - they are all willing to stick to the plan that will surely bring us success.
Sure they'll be a few hurdles along the way, but that's what make the journey more enjoyable.

Well done TW and the Tigers :thumbsu:

What preconceptions do people have that is blinding them to Terrys term so far?

Most people unhappy with the progress are basing it on actual results and have been very patient.

People are always optomistic at the beginning and the preconception is always that the bloke will do well. Its taken more than 60% of Terry term for people to start questioning it. You should see the StKilda board.

The preconception back when Terry was appointed was that he was the Messiah.

What if we made the finals this year, would people still consider us to be going backwards?
We're not out of the race yet, but many are still calling for Wallace's head.

There aren't any.. opinons should be based on results and a proper analysis.

What is so bad about TW's coaching term so far?
2007 was the only real bad season, and that was wrecked with injuries, bad luck and a lack of confidence across the whole team.

Well done to TW and the coaching team for focusing back on the plan and getting this young Tiger side back on track :thumbsu:

Why dont you start by comparing the results of Wallace against Eade and Clarkson, who were all appointed the same year by their respective clubs.

Then give us a proper analysis.

Then compare their salaries

Look at Malthouses third and fourth year.

Terry put his salary in Malthouses level so he should be judged in comparison to him aswell. The bloke virtually started all over again as there was little from Shaws era to use.

I hate the fact the Magpies beat us to Mick. He would have been great for us. Tough bastard.

In short he is being flogged by blokes who he considered to be above or equal to in pay.

I reckon Peter Sassegum is the only poster that from now on should reply to Parrots posts on the Richmond board. Just hope they're not the same person.

You look at the results and you also look at the approach. Clarkson came in and said the team was good but not good enough to to win a premiership so he promoted kids. Eade came in and said the team was good and that it could take them to finals. Wallace came in, said the team was said, possum poo was everywhere, cut savagely then recruited ready made players. Now he sits there making excuses for his failure.

It seems as though he wanted to be savage on the club in order to justify his salary. He was never a team player and that shows in his results.

Don't put me in the same catergory as Sausage Roll as I haven't called for Wallace or Miller to get the arse(yet) & have supported JON(until such time that its proven whether he is a player or not).

Have argued for the younger players to be given more than 1-2 games in the side before being sent back to Coburg because they had 1 quiet game while others are allowed time to rediscover their form. Have argued for Wallace to stick to the gameplan that he brought in between rounds 3-8 instead of the crap they dished up against the Swans and Crows.

But if you're happy to accept losing, playing past it players and developing players at a slower rate than 15 other teams then you're welcome to it.

Clearly is a troll. There is no way one could be so loyal to Wallace after what he has done for the past 4 years. McMahon for pick 19! He might think he is being subtle about it, but it is quite obviously a troll.
