Can anyone tell me who the Redbacks are in the NSWAFL? Are they the Sydney Swans reserves team or anything to do with them? I believe that Brett Allison (former Kangaroos and Swans) will coach/assist. I would appreciate any info that people have!!

not quiet they are a feeder club for the swans in the NSWAFL along with Port Melb in the AFL.
The redbacks are a combination of some Swans list players and rookies plus the best available talent from NSW

We have a weekly column at RedAndWhiteOnline dedicated to the Sydney AFL (the competition which the Sydney Redbacks play in).
Once the season officially begins, this update will feature general news on the comp, but also a detailed look at how the Swans-listed players are going.

Thanks for all the help guys - I think I may actually get to go and watch some games now that I know where I'm going!!

Nice one Fruity
Local footy in Sydney needs all the support it can get !
Also the games are played at some of the best venues in Sydney. North Sydney Oval, Trumper Park, Wagener Oval, Monarch Field and the others are all really nice places to wile away a sunny winters afternoon watching some local footy.
cheers
