As Max Cavalera sang "What goes around, comes around, your going down...down"
Easty...you need to learn to shut your mouth. Youve been bagging and bagging South all pre season and in the first 2 games for being useless...while applauding Glenelgs prospects this year, with this boom recruits etc. yet South thumped you by 11 goals!!!
What do you have to say Easty?? Or can i take a guess and say you wont be around for the next week or so!!!
You are a gutless wanker...im glad you got what you deserved!

you hypocrite ! You complain that I rub a loss in and want me banned yet you can post expletives on here ! You are a joke, get a thicker skin you whimp. By the way, you have yet another theme song ! They change them so often ! What a joke ! No tradition at all, idiots. Oh but I am not a whimp, I wont go demanding that you get banned for swearing, because I am not a soft whimp like you.

We have a hell of a lot more tradition than you, you pathetic, braindead wanker.
We have almost 3 times as many flags as you, and are celebrating our 125th year in the league. Of course we have tradition, fool.
Like you can talk about club songs - all yours is, is a half-arsed rip off of Richmond's! You only changed YOUR song a few years ago so what are you talking about?! Remember "A Tiger For Me"? I doubt it...
GET A CLUE!

You sook Easty. Go run off too mummy and daddy and complain you stupid moron. Youve been abusing Go South for months..about his team being crap...but then they come out and kick your arse. Cant you hack that your team is a load of shite??
Do you realise that Port have beaten Glenelg about 100 more times than Glenelg has beaten Port?
No tradition?? bwahahaha
South has been in the competition 30 years longer than your team, has 7 more premierships, and you complain they have no tradition due to the change of a club song??
EVEN tho, Glenelg changed their club song to Richmonds song about 2-3 years back. Can you say Hypocrit easty??? Print the word Moron on your head, so people know not to speak to you on the street.
You are a sook...you are a complaining that Go South is bagging you for losing, even tho youve done that 3 fold to Go South.

I think Glenelg has oscillated between "A Tiger For Me" and "Tigerland" a few times over the years. I don't know why; though I suspect one of the changes might have been due to the subtle change in the semantics of the former line "We're dashing, we're *** , we're the pride of the Bay". http://www.bigfooty.com/ubb/wink.gif
Watching the video of one of the Grand Finals (I think it was '86), the SANFL played "Tigerland" during the lap of honour, but in the rooms afterwards the lads could be heard singing "A Tiger For Me". Very puzzling. I think both songs have a place at the Bay; in recent years I have heard both songs get played after a win; one after the other.
Myself, I prefer "A Tiger For Me", and so do many of the Bays fans I know. To me it is just more GLENELG than "Tigerland". I for one wish the Bays would change back to this as the "official" song.
Now GoSouth - why did the Panthers change the song, and what do you think of this? Call me a traditionalist, but I think it's pretty sad. There was nothing at all wrong with South's old song (except for the fact that I rarely heard it get played http://www.bigfooty.com/ubb/wink.gif ). It had history, and it was SOUTH. The new song is a re-worked version of the Carlton tune; it isn't South at all. Why did the club change it?

I'm not sure why they changed the song this latest time, but I'm kind of glad, because the one before this one was a shocker. I guess the song wasn't that bad, but the person that was singing it made it sound pretty pathetic. It didn't have the 'club song' sound like it should have. (hard to explain what I mean, but it sounded too modern, and not 'traditional' enough, if you get my drift)
"We're the team from South Adelaide, called the mighty panthers..." is the song I'm referring to. I think it was changed soon after we moved to Noarlunga, to tie in with the club's new image and everything.
I heard the new song today for the first time. I think it's an improvement on the last one, but as you said, I think it's a worry when the song gets changed frequently.
At last - A Glenelg supporter on here that talks sense. You put Easty to absolute shame, haha

I wouldn't worry too much..........at Centrals we must have had 6 club songs at the very least in the last 10-15 years.
We've had the Good Old 'We're the mighty Bulldogs' which we all loved, and John Swans ditty 'Pride of the Plains', then the high inferiority complex song 'This Time' and now the crap Westies/Hawthorn rip off , which is totally hated by most fans. We'll be using your old club song soon if you're not careful :-)

Great win by the Panthers today. I was so relieved to check the score on the net and see a result like that!!
As for the Club song.....our song we have just dumped was adopted in 1997 and it was CRAP! The song before that was great and we had that from 1979 and I loved it....as for the new song, well as I haven't heard it and I wont here it in the UK, I can't comment!
Well done South and I hope we can continue the form over the coming weeks......

you have been through alot more club songs than us. The new one is even more lamer than your old one ! You have totally ripped off carltons song, what a joke ! At least one of ours is original. But I guess your last song was a laugh and a half because it states that you wont give up until the premiership cup is in your hands, well you will not be giving up for ages yet ! But this new ones is pretty lame.

You still can't argue with the fact that Glenelg described themselves as g-a-y in one of their songs. I think its sweet. Anyone remember that cruddy version of "Tiger for Me" that the Bays had, sung by the Wily West Band I think they were called they had a woman singing it.. or was it Tony McGuinness.. who can tell?
*cough*
Anyways, talking about changing club songs. Sturt had a really crappy one about 10 years ago (I wouldn't even know the words, selective memory cos it was that bad) and the supporters kicked up such a stink that we got to vote on what the song should be. "Grand old Flag" got the nod ahead of the one similar to Carlton's that we had for a while in the mid-80s (my preference due to the fact that we had the same song as Norwood)

Why can't you just face the ****ing facts?
You've been going on for WEEKS about how much you were going to beat us by.
Well, newsflash, we thumped your arses by 66 points. Why can't you just accept it, instead of trying to shift the subject to "next time" as usual...
Your already miniscule credibility level has plunged even further.
