View Full Version : Subi tickets...
Hi guys,
I'm a Hawthorn supporter living in Melbourne, and I'm heading over to Perth to watch my beloved Hawks take on your mob at Subi. I have already managed to secure myself a seat through the club (Hawthorn), however, I have a couple of cousins (based in WA), who want to head along as well.
Now I know they won't be able to sit with me, as they are not Hawthorn members (Victorian or Interstate). However, I'm pretty sure Subiaco has a couple of thousand general admission tickets available each game. So if I was going to snap up a couple of seats for my cousins, what are my chances of doing so? Ticketmaster says tickets come out two weeks before the game... it doesn't say whether this is for GA or WCE members. Also, it says ticket sales commence at 9:00. Again, it neglects to say whether this is AEST or WST.
Hopefully you guys can help me out with some advice??
Thanks in advance.

That is for GA, tickets are available earlier for members. You could maybe still also get extra tickets from your club, have you spoken to them? It is WST, they wouldn't start selling the tickets at 7am Perth time for a Perth game!!! Your chances are greatly improved now that we suck! Still, they may be best to try and get a mate with an Eagles membership to get them tickets through the resale program. Lots of people are not going to the games and flogging their tickets this year.
Upon saying all that, there will still be reasonable demand for this game, so good luck to you!!
Hey mate,
the 9 AM GA tickets, if you're logged on at 9:00 AM on the dot, you'll be fine, especially when we're having a season as crappy as this, bandwagoners jump off.

I'm an in the wings member and i always seem to fail at getting tickets from the re-sale.
Stupid question: Is it one week before the game or the thursday morning just before the game?

Thursday morning just before.
I got them for the Carlton v West Coast game in round 7, good seats they were.
10:00 AM the Thursday before, so in my case it was the day before.

They must want us to have a top 3 draft pick.
