What about interstate boys. Are there any?

I thought Nick Heyne was more wing than KP?

Hurley is probably the best KP player in this draft on exposed form.

Interstate boys, add Aaron Cornelius. Awesome hands.

Actually he's right boys, Heyne can play Key Position.. but i'd expect at AFL level he'll be moulded into a tall midfielder/wingman

187cm's, good on the lead, strong hands... could definetely pinch-hit at FF if his team needed...

Hurley, Lynch, Watts, Rockliff, Cornelius, Gaertnar, Trengove, Hill, McKernan and Johnstone would be the names of KPP you'll hear towards the pointer end of the draft this year... even blokes like Cordy and Vickery might end up KP rather than Ruck

Heyne will not be drafted with the intention of him not playing KP in the AFL, its that simple.

Gaertnar is the new Trengrove.

With Max probably retiring at the end of next year, St Kilda could do with a decent KP back. Say we were to take one with our first pick, probably pick 7-10, who would be the best candidate?

don't think we'll bother using our first pick on a Key Back TassieSaint.. i'd much rather we take best available and then pick up a backman second or third round.. pacey midfielder would be nice

If they were was to be a key back picked up early it'd be Michael Hurley would it not?

Do you guys have him playing as a KPP at AFL level?

yes.. but he'll go top 5 if not top 3

Yes, I have him top 5, but wasn't sure whether he'd play KPP straight away at AFL level, I have pencilled in for a flank or a pocket initially.

And who's to say the Saints won't finish 14th ;)
