leave him alone, it makes him feel less insecure when he has a poll to prove deledio is better than someone everyone knows is not even in the same league as him.

ah so that's how it is, a bit like that idiot saints supporter a few weeks back was arguing that gilbert is better than jamison then made a poll to find out what i along with everyone else was trying to tell him.

wells by a fair bit at this stage
i didnt really ever think wells was that great a player.
hes good, but nothing spectacular. he'd kick arse in a awesome midfield like geelong's or west coast's premiership one.

End of their carrers Wells will be judged far better .Richmond are a joke and can only dream of making a prelim as we did last year you didnt even question my reasoning thats how much of a dream it is for your rabble.Three more years down the bottom and another 5 year extension for Wallet and maybe just maybe..

Who do you think Wells will be playing for before the end of his career? Surely another club will pick Wells up when the Roos fold.

I guess the Roo supporters must have a lot of pets then. "Rex" or "Fluffy" must be the most common name for a Roo member.
If the MCG allow animals into the stadium I am sure there will be reasonable attendances at the games. Also the Kangaroos will have no trouble finding a good "Rover".

Deledio has played every game this year and has consistently performed.
Wells has shown glimpses in between his injuries. Even with injuries considered, Deledio has passed him, he's at least two years younger than Wells, and Deledio in two years will be doing better than Wells this year.
Anyway we know Deledio is better, the real test is how me matches up to the bulldogs pair of Griffen from the same draft, both touted as the best from 2004 and Cooney, similar to Deledio only a year older. That's a matchup which tests Deledio.

Wells averages Tambling stats but hes 3 years older, if he was selected before Franklin he'd be getting just as much. A better poll would be Wells vs. Tambling.

Spot on, Tambling is a better prospect than Wells even though he's 3 years younger.
It's amazing how public perception can be based purely on who was taken after a player in the draft.
North supporters will cry out insulted at the thought of comparing Wells to Tambling, purely because Buddy has created a huge stigma of "failure" surrounding Richard.
The fact is - they are similar, equal players despite a 3 year difference.

I'd take 20 Wells touches over 20 Deledio touches, but statistics seem to be everything in this day and age when judging a player.

What about the stat about how Wells plays one good game every 6 weeks.
