Another Saturday Night in Brizvegas, and the hometown Lions face Adelaide. Both last start losers looking to avenge with Brisbane pretty average against the Doggies (something to do with the jumper I'd say), and Adelaide unable to stop the Hawk jugganaut.

Still no Bradshaw for the Lions, with Copeland, Rischitelli and 1st gamer Tom Collier (Tassie U/18 skipper from last year) the ins. Leuenberger rested for this week with Roe injured and Stiller back to Suncoast. A trio of changes also for the visitors with Brett Burton back from suspension.

Since the merger, the Lions have an 11-7 edge overall, and 7-4 at home in the positive. The Crows have taken the last 3 encounters (2 in Brisbane), but Brisbane have won their last 4 home matches.


TIP: Brisbane by 15 points, although I thought the home ground advantage was more pronounced against Adelaide when I made the tip.

I'm rarely wrong in games involving Brisbane. Only got one wrong tip this year and that was Round 4 against Port when I thought we'd lose (and we should of!). Adelaide this week will win, get on it.

Now why was that play on?! The umpiring has been inconsistent and shit all night. A kick between 5 and 40 metres may or may not be called play on. They have no idea where the boundary line is and then there are the mysterious play ons and "free kicks" (eg Brennan's shot on goal).

Very lucky (for both Adcock and Bassett) Adcock didn't duck to pick up the ball due to a dodgy bounce, he would've killed him. I wouldn't be surprised if he ended up with a week or two though!
