Joel Selwood and Mathew Stokes did not join their teammates at Melbourne Airport and they are no certainties to make the trip.

"They are going to do a fitness test so they are very close to playing, otherwise we wouldn’t have selected them," Thompson said.
"We have got our fingers crossed that they will be okay."

Ryan Gamble, David Wojcinski and Kane Tenace are the emergencies for the Saturday night match at Subiaco.

GEELONG heads to Perth to take on West Coast full of confidence, with the news that Joel Selwood and Matthew Stokes have passed fitness tests and are scheduled to join their teammates in Perth later on Friday night.

The duo did not fly out with the rest of the team, staying in Melbourne to prove their fitness for the round-13 clash at Subiaco on Saturday.

The news means that emergencies Ryan Gamble, David Wojcinski and Kane Tenace are unlikely to come into team for the clash.

DAM!

Gamble and WoJo would be the possible replacements.

Very handy inclusions for Geelong.

I am sure this won't bother them a great deal!

Big losses to Geelong, but good teams aren't worried about a couple of younger players, even though they are very good players. this only means someone else gets to play in a 10 goal win. Simple as that!

Every other team would kill to have those three blokes as emergencies.
