You'll find 20 different sqauds in Melbourne - just walk around the bottom level behind the seats and you'll come across pockets of people. We usually stand around M4 - M7 (pocket) and we always come across supporters who will get onto it with you. Otherwise, before the game, pay a visit to the Royal (opposite Punt Road) - you'll meet quite a few there enjoying a beer and the sights before heading over to the G..

Hee hee. Last time I was there (after Doggies game) I did manage to see quite some nice sights. Such as some really nice tatts, not much body hair.... ;)

I'll be there after the game on Sunday again to ensure my eyes didn't deceive me the last time around?

Hey guys. I'm taking Cara to the 'G for a couple of games, and we're looking to get in with some chants if you boys have groups like that. Is there a main group or just a bunch of little scattered groups?

And does anybody know any of the chants they sing?

At the MCG, the main group will be seated at M33/M34 (go in from gate 1). There is only one game left at the MCG for us.

The main chant is - Brisbane... Brisbane... Brisbane... etc.
If you want to save your voice, then join in the minority who chant - Lions... Lions... Lions... in between the main chant.

At the Royal?? Theres a few, common themes - top half or bottom half. Oh, you mean at the game? Not that I know of, we're usually busy 'interacting' with opposition supporters.

Was there after the Doggies game, got in early (ie out the ground as soon as the siren sounded). Got a spot, surprisingly enough, perched nicely at the bar on the other side where you walk in ;) The quality has got better over the past couple of years.... :thumbsu:

Unfortunately, on Sunday, my partner in crime has to go up country for work so wont be joining me. I've yet to commit to heading there before, after or before/after yet, something about going there on my own disturbs me...

I know how you feel. I was meant to meet some people there prior to the Legends game and that 15 minutes on your own is a bit awkward.

Cos you dont know where to look?? ;)

TtT, myself and BlackPowerLappin (you know, the one whose post I quoted the whole thing for a 10 word reply....) are meeting at the Royal before the game on Sunday. If you, or anyone for that matter (boys and girls ;)) are keen on meeting some fellow BF fans we'll be there from about 11am (early game means early start..). I dare say we'll be at our normal spot which is the other side of the bar as you walk in the entrance on the left facing out to Punt Rd (that small kinda room if you know what I mean). Unless I'm wearing my beanie I'm bout 6ft with a shaved head and I'll be most likely wearing my new away jumper, BPL is about 5ft 6 (in heels) and, how do i describe it, will have silver streaks in his spikey hair (how else would you describe it Vic?...!).

I guess when you look like that it's fair to describe what you look like on BF but I don't think I would've done that!

I'm doing a tour of the rooms before the game at midday so the 11:00am start works perfectly if I can make it in, in time from Berwick way?

Is the great BlyndFreddie in? Probably not much point if you're blind?!

I'm training it from Boronia, havent checked timetable yet but whatever train arrives richmond around 11. BPL, he's driving from out Mill Park way so he's gonna have a few at the Royal then I dare say slow down during the game. Yeah, taken the shaved hair option - with the price of consumables increasing, along with rates and petrol, I did away with hair product - not that I consumed much hair product.. Much easier getting up for work and not having to worry about the hair.. Well, we'll be there, if it so happens that anyone else makes it along would be beaut to put faces to names..
