3 big names hampered by injuries, and all three could possibly miss next week (no idea how they'll pull up at training)
Who to come in?

I really dont care who comes in now, i drive an hour and a half every time i come to see them play and then loss. WTF is going on with the club. Cornes should have never been on that oval today, i take my hat of to him.... he's not fit and should not be on there.

All week it was reported Salopek was struggling with an achilles problem. Still we play him. Chad's injury woes from fingers to toes are well documented. Still we play him. Then oh my what a surprise when they break down. It's a shambles.

I was listening to the press conference. Choco said a couple of things:
Chad rested for 2-3 because of calf strain (noticeable today) and the knee
Burgoyne Hamstring probably the usual 2-3
Salopek Achilles Strain 3+ weeks.
Salopek is an excellent player... is sad to see him go as he puts in 100% almost every week.

Time for young Farmer to come in I think.
Bugger, all 3 are in my dreamteam too.
Thomson for Salopek
Stewart for Chad
Bentley for Peter
No can do, or at least I hope not.
After having lost Westhoff and not replaced him with a tall we cannot afford to lose another tall in Chad and not replace him accordingly.
White will have to come in, but hopefully both White and Cockshell will.

Stewart, Thomson and Krakouer.

Sorry but I wouldn't bring Krak in.
For mine it'd be White, Westhoff and Thomson. We were too short this week so we need an extra tall in addition to Chad's replacement IMO.
I'd also prefer Deluca for Blade but don't think it'll happen now we've already got 3 outs.

What makes you say Chad will even miss? He is obviously really keen to play as he came back on after he looked stuffed, i can't imagine Chad to be the sort of bloke who would just miss the whole season for surgery he could have when the season finishes. I would be more surprised to see Chad get the surgery then to see him battle on for the rest of the season.

If Chad was played mostly as a tall instead of a tall midfielder I'd agree.
I still want another tall in, but not as a Chad replacement - in as a KPP.
Outs: Chad, Salopek, P. Burgoyne + Lade and Pearce.
Ins: Stewart, Thomson, DeLuca, Cockshell, Bentley.

Agree with that apart from Pearce. Don't really see the point in dropping him. He's been ok the last couple of weeks and he's young. Either we stick with him because hes young and has talent or we at least try and maintain his stock as trade bait.
I'd like to see Westhoff back ASAP and I would like to see Cockshell in and seeing how he goes pinch hitting in the ruck.

Did he specifically say Chad would be out?
Why would he be rested for 2-3?
Surely if they are pulling the pin on him it would be for the season? Put him in for surgery and bring back better next year.

...
He was on the week end.
Now without Toby being there to back him up, Pettigrew failed miserably and Chad went back to help out.
