Graham seems to be getting the better of his duel with Seaby, but then of course who doesn't beat Seaby these days

Fantastic ending this is. Notte marks it and sends it into the 50 and a mark. Swans in front by 6.

Notte redeems himself by taking an important pack mark on the wing for Swans!

Kicks it long to the forward line where Spaanderman takes a mark... and he kicks it!

The Ex-eagles puts Swans in front by a goal against Subi deep in the last quarter!

Notte contributes to the 7 point play :D

The Subi juggernaut has been halted! Well at least for one week anyway

In other games South beat West Perth by 39

Damn Swans, I wanted an unbeaten run to the finals! And Waters injured as well, this is a cruddy day.

At least this seems to be the week for upsets...

Firstly wce all da way I hate auskick. Had to leave Swans at half time, although at that time we were 30+ points down and half subi's score, so I thought, "it's just as well", to go to Auskick tonight.

Then I get home, turn the TV on as I'm getting my auskick gear on (coach the 5's and assist with 8's) and I'm yelling, swearing (yes, in front of my 5 yo) and finalling screaming and the 7yo is high fiving me. Thought we were gone at half time.

But on to the game - Spaanderman anyone? He was great today and I just wondered if an AFL club would be willing to give him another look? Garlett, fantastic, Wolfenden - great and Notte was good when the chips were down. Davis took a screamer in the goal square in the second, shortest guy going for it from 4 deep but out jumped everyone. The eagles need to look at that and play with the heart those kids from Swans played with. Honestly, I expected a 60-80 point result, Subi's way.

On other games it sounded like Thomson was getting his hands on the ball a fair bit in the Claremont v EP match and Mackenzie seemed to be doing OK as well.

Jamie McNamara - BOG for Easts by a fair bit. 30 possessions and alot of clearances. In next week

Brent Staker - 20 possessions 10 marks and 1 goal 1. Played as a leading CHF mostly. Good numbers but a player like Brent should be kicking bags at this level

Jaymie Graham - Rucked vs Seaby all day. Broke even if not slightly in Grahams favor. Got 20 possessions and a goal

Mark Seaby - Got less of the ball with 15 touches but beat Graham in hitouts. Still not a good enough game for him at this level to warrant a recall

Ryan Davis - Took a screamer and was one of Swans bests as always. 18 possessions and a goal

Eric McKenzie - His worst game of the year by the sounds of it. Gave away alot of free kicks inside 50 and went walkabouts trying to run of HBF too often.

James Thompson - From what I heard he played deep in defence this week and did a okay job. Hes consistenly good but hasnt needs amazing to get a game i feel.

Tony Notte - Played on a wing and played a BIG part in the final minutes of getting Swans over the line. 8 marks is what I like to see from him
